This challenge was done on the Dutch Mole too, albeit a bit differently. They charged the battery mountainbiking all the way to the top of a mountain in Portugal (amazing scenary) - after which they took shifts deep into the night trying to catch the ball. There was an exemption at stake in that one, and they did catch it, also by chance more or less.
Wouldn't the mole want to NOT look happy? Besides maybe she just felt a little giddy after being awake for over 24 hours, and she wasn't really happy.
Honestly can't people see this. I don't know if this is correct but its either Karrie or Chris L. The producers would have cut the connection so that the ball falls early just between the change-over. The odds on it happening for real is about 1 in 60! My suspicion is Chris because he pushed Karrie's hands out of the way but we'll see.
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! they did noy catch it.

I dont know whether i am blinded by what i THOUGHT was a clue, but everything seems to point to chris for me.
Though i admit i have never got one right this early before.

The single most gut-wrenching challenge in any Mole series worldwide. What horrific timing.

I think this is the only time they've had eliminations in daylight. It sort of takes some of the dramatic effect away.
