Hamelin ist fantastic but Kapustin is.........well, what shall I say, he is better in his own music.

@MichaSchlechtriem Kapustin thinks like an authentic jazz musicians, in the way that rythm and 'swing' dictates how each note should sound. You can slow the music down and put a metronome on this shit, it's scary how TIGHT and percussive he plays. Hamelin plays the music just like some Debussy. Totally missing the point imho.

This guy has rhythm! Tackling this piece has made me realize how 'classical-minded' i was. These rhythms are hard, but once you 'feel it' it just falls into place! God Kapustin rocks!
