Apologize is originally done by OneRepublic, and they have a version featuring Timbaland. Luke Bryan is doing his version of it. I could name off so many other songs that artists have covered, and people think they did it first. I love country music, but I don't know if I really like this version. He doesn't have the right voice, to me, for the higher notes. But that's just my opinion :]

Its not a remix its a cover. A remix is where someone with no musical talent moves parts of a song around. a cover is when some one plays the song and makes a new rendition of it. And the "dying" cat you speak of (as opposed to how you spelled it: "dieng") is called a falsetto and its a very hard note to hit and control
