Don't get this phone! It looks sweet...for about the first day then the screen gets 2000 scratches on it. it randomly turns off all the time. It's hard to text cus the keys aren't really well separated. and worst of all...YOU CANNOT SEE THE SCREEN IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE AND THERE IS A MILD BIT OF SUN!!!

I love this phone i got it, mine is a bit different since instead of a joystick i have a scroll button. For texting sometimes is difficult since the plate is striaght but anyways features are cool even as a memory mine holds 8 full songs and its good. The camera is quit good 2mega pixels and it takes great photos . Good for a women because it's like a mirror lol anyway thuumbs up for this mobile

In my opinion, don't get this. I have one, and I hate it. I have a hard time texting with it that I dont have with other phones, and sometimes it disobeyes you, like shutting off by itself or pocket-dialing and pocket-photography.

Terrible for texting- really awkward if you have poor signal! It goes straight back to main menu if it fails to send, you then have to find your message and re send.....awful. but pretty.

I like the hold phone but if I could take the .. 'mental' features with the LG and put it in something like the LG Xenon I so would. LG shine.. well, mine, anyways is pretty much ... well. it cant break. I throw it in the air and drop it on cement, in water. Nothing. No problems have hapened, But it IS very heavy. The camera on the front is useful, but I don't suggest it for actually taking pictures.

The joystick isn't really a bother, contrary to other comments. I guess it just really matters on how much you tolerate. If you get one thing wrong, maybe you shouldn't get this phone.

Call the customer service number (Roger's or AT&T, whichever you have), tell them you have an LG Shine and you need the PUK code. They'll ask for your phone number, area code, and the last 4 numbers the account holder's Social Security number.

This worked for me, hopefully it'll work for you.

I also have an LG Shine.. this phone sucks big time. You need to press 4 keys before you can even start typing in your sms message! 3 keys to type in a comma or a questionmark.. and another 5 keys to find someone on the contact list where to send your sms to. The autospeller also is kind of shitty.

The only thing i like about the phone is the camera and the metallic look. But I wouldn't recommend it for functions that matter like sms.

get the quickfire. The shine sucks, Mine always dies on me. On second it will say it has full batarie, and the next its about to die. Mine also never ever gets service. ANY WHERE. One second it will have full bars, the next it has none. So deffinitly get the quickfire.

This phone is a piece of crap be carefull with the glass, its not strong enough and will damage the LCD. Customer service will tgive you the runaround and will NOT fix it even if it is under warantee. Althought interior LCD is damanged they treat it as external damange and will NOT fix it!!!LG sucks!!!
