I think the difference in the case of this mans crime is that he acted because the girl was in violation of shria laws (RELIGIOUSLY based legal doctrine of islam). There actually are not as many Muslim terrorist groups as the media would have people believe. The media likes to also call insugencies and resistance movement terrorist organizations, even though their goals are much more limited in geography and ideology than al-Qaeda. Nothing terrorizes like ignorance. The radical Islamization you see is recent, since the 1990s.

Marxists terror groups were no different from all the other groups, who, for thousands of years, used terror to victimize innocent people to control others through fear and publicity of their atrocities.
When you use specific terms to put a finer point on the nature of the conflict, you start to limit the problem and the opposition loses some of its power.

I think the difference in the case of this mans crime is that he acted because the girl was in violation of shria laws (RELIGIOUSLY based legal doctrine of islam). Now this is largely disregarded in modern sufi islam but salafist (political) islam has embraced it strongly and uses it to justify some pretty heinous crimes. So you see the link is made due to the fact that the act is specifically based on and justified by religious laws not just the personal maleficence of the perpetrator.

Its surprising that in the Muslim countries we treat evil as evil and never label it as 'christian' evil and infact teach our populations that christians are the closest to Isla. Even people considered extreme in the west like ahmedinajad has been full of praise about true christianity, refusing to call for e.g. George bush a true christian.

He could have easily told his entire country that George bush's evil stems from his christian upbringing but instead in a sermon said he is not a true christian thus seperating christian faith from the evil committed by christians. Thanks for the comment brother. Paul killed people before he became a follower of Christ and he changed after and in fact he himself was killed for witnessing Christ later.
On the other hand Muhammad and his compnaions killed and rampaged after they became Muslims.

I answered that before to you. This was social law given to Israelite by MOSES. Jesus COMMANDED NOT to execute punishement for sin on behalf of God and that is what Christians practice.

I wish religions (which I abhor) would at least stick to Attraction rather than Promotion. But we don't, because we as Muslims can discern intellectually the difference between an Evil act committed by a person, and the persons religion/belief system. In Islam we don't malign other peoples religions, we are told to respect them. The <5% of Muslims that don't, i.e Wahabis, Taliban, Al-Qaeda (al-CIAda) & the like are what the hate mongers like to feed upon. This is how satan works..attack the TRUTH at all levels malign it, demonize them.
