  • It's been 3 and half years since the monarchy was abolished. Things got better in Nepal since?

  • FUCK THE MAOISTS!

What right do they have to dismantle the cultural institutions of the people in the name of "progress"? Nepal is a Hindu nation, and the monarchy is a symbol of its history and cultural heritage. If people want changes, they can get them but why destroy their heritage? It is a cowardly and evil thing to do. The abolition of the monarchy is a mistake, and I promise that the people will regret it before long.

LONG LIVE THE KING! JAI SRI RAM!

  • hier krijgen ze spijt van!

  • fuck monarchy

  • you'll regret it soon when you get corrupt politicians and there will be nothing you can do about.

  • agree ^^'' thx u so much to post d vid ~~

  • people! many people died so that we could make our own decision about our country. Lets make it worth it. Monarchy! seen enough of it. Think it with brain rather than heart.

  • fuck monarchy

  • good for them

  • nooob nepal rubbish uncle noob bikram when the king die his uncle cry with his uncle noob icarnation head uncle nigget

  • I am a fond believer in monarchy, and medieval as my opinions might seem. He is an annointed King, and the people of nepal, are his subjects, if people knew his past then perhapes they should have stepped in then, perhapes. However, he is your King, and depending on what you believe, to challenge him would be heresy. But thats just my opinion, and i know i'm very old fashioned lol. :)

  • you prejidious bitch

  • we shouldnt agree with what this foreign media says,we nepalse know he had demolished his own family to be a king

  • Dipendra was a moron. I hate him for everything he did. He could have just went into the bushes and shot himself. But nooo............ That moron had to go and kill his entire family. I hope the souls of the royal family (with the exception of dipendra) will rest in peace. I hope dipendra is gone to hell.

  • and also his son is a proved killer and he himself a mysterious killer

  • King should be thrown out and investigated for all his misdeeds.

  • I am a monarchist. But I prefer the constitunional monarchies. If a king takes over and becomes a dictator he must be stopped. In the case of Nepal after these events, King Gyanendra must be deposed. Basically I think, that the monarchy itself should be kept, but who should be elected as king? The crownprince has a controversial life, and his son is still a child...

Monarchy or not, I hope the Nepaleese people will see the rising sun -smiling on a new, democratic Nepal.

  • die safely

  • in current constitution assambly election more than 95% elected member are from those party who want to throw out the monarchism...the best things is more than 35% people vote for the rebellion party The Communist Party Of Nepal Maoist........thats the great supports of people for republic country.

  • Why do people call the King "incarnation" of Vishnu, he is an "avatar" of Vishnu. There is a big difference.

  • wow

  • YOU'RE NOT HIS BUDDY, GUYYYYYYYY!

  • I know it gets dismissed as (not investigated) ancient tradition, which it certainly is, but the golden snakes statuette behind the head of the monarchy is much more immediately symbolic, and I would go so far as to assert that he likely is not human

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!! IMPEACH ALL FIGURE HEADS OF ALL OPPRESSIVE TYRANNY I VOTED FOR GOD!!!

  • who are u talking to??? lol

  • Long live freedom and Nepal charas 4EVER!

    Don't criticize it, legalize it!

    I love charas.

  • Could it be possible to keep the monarchy as a figurehead monarchy, with the king/queen as a cultural representive but having no power at all? I'm thinking the Emperor of Japan as a model. Have one of Gyendra's grandchildren take the throne, and have the congress maintain strict control over the monarchy budget. Then couldn't the monarchy maintain the continuity of Nepalese culture, while never being a threat to democracy?

  • no senor, it is already a powerless monarchy. The vote is wether or not to abolish it, its really just like a group of people agreeing or disagreeing that nothing occupies empty space

  • Where are the sons of heaven , past into the mist , who created order from the world above and below ,

who wrapped the waters in his cloak, tell me if you ,know who ascended to the heavens and the deep's,

who understand mortal men with little time to live?, tell me please , this pomp this grandeur from which was it created , it was the harts of devious men .

  • Death too Maoist!

  • mao's a dong

  • Down with ALL totalitarians, be they absolute monarchs or communists.

  • @ the 'threesome': in truth, you have already lost the case

Dogs bark as the caravan moves on ...

  • Loyalist vermin. Go eat the shit that came out of your stupid monarch´s ass.

    Long live the Republic!

  • @ mako

Talk about stupid ass... I live in a monarchy and I'm as republican as can be !

    Delete the elite.

  • Is that so? Then behave as such, sir.

  • And perhaps you shouldn't behave as a "prince" ?

  • and you say that based on...?

    or are you just talking?
