@alex9289 No it is not a vacum it is a blower. The bees are blown down the chute towards the front of the hive, then they crawl back inside just as a swarm would go into a hive entrance. They are not harmed by the air.
I just ordered a hive today. I'm not as interested in the honey as much as i am in the pollination of my fruit trees. How do you get the honey out of the comb manually?
Congrats. con your nice clean work you make....the only comment is in how you get the bees from the suppers, I know that from one place to another it is totally different how we beekeepers work even from one city to another in the same state we work very different I believe that it is very stressful for the bees all that noise and the blowing but as you show no bees were harm and it is way faster to get the super clean keep up the excellent work:)
Thank you

what is that type of beehive called?

@anticolorguy
We use Jumbo Langstroth Hives. They are the same dimensions as the standard Langstroth but with deeper brood frames.( Dadant size)
Hope this helps.

What do you do with the frames after you extract the honey. can you put them back on the hive?
victorhazbun 1 year ago
@victorhazbun Thankyou for your comment.
The extraction process does not damage the frames and they can be reused many times. This saves the bees alot of energy rebuilding the honeycombs.

very gd, but you should have used a spoon to taste the honey at the end, not your finger.

This is excellent. I can now see how "pure" the honey is. Hope you will be making some more videos.
