@TehOrkyMan Some components of the Voyager intro are slowed down, others sped up. The order isn't changed.

The reason why it fits is simple: there's a basic pattern how dramatic tension is best built up: calm moments and rapid changes succeeding each other as the average tension rises. The filling is important too, which makes the Mass Effect theme and Voyager intro better than, say, a mac donalds commercial (which uses the same system). If you allow stretching of components, anything appealing
