  • You've got a message pal...

  • I tink peeple only watch this because of how he talks. By the way, I'm dirty-tree years old.

  • Cool

  • yea yea HIGH QUALITY CAMERA, we got it

  • can we use a phone too?

  • this was extremely helpful btw what tripod do you use?

  • So...

Why are you doing stop motion with a camera that can record Videos?

And why do you need such a good program if you can't even make a good video?

You can simply make the stop motion movie on the Camera,

So Stop using your moms camera and go back to your little portable one.

  • @iPointDown Hi ignorant. It doesn't matter what camera you use for stop-motion. A stop-motion isn't like a normal video, ever seen one of those videos with Lego figures on 'em? Those are stop-motion animation. The sole-purpose of stop-motion is frame-by-frame pictures. Yea you can make a video "stop-motion", but you have any idea on how long it'll take you to edit it all?

  • can you take a video and just do something??

  • But what if your doing a music video stop motion and you're in it. How are you going to take the pictures then?

  • a well done made tutorial; thx for it, it helped me to undersatnd, what you are doing there. great!

  • Lol at the Top Comment. And 3DS is the System that made me want to do Stop Motion, due to being Simplistic but also seeing how I just noticed it.

But I can say, even doing Simple Projects like I am myself, can take long.

I ramp it up by doing a Coffee Stop Motion & saw the time while doing it, and took 2 Hours for just 1-2 Minutes, but was impress at the work. Solid Stop Motion from 3DS.

  • Shut up. I just want to see the glass of water in the video. I should just go into one if my videos and brake it into frames and make it like 2x longer for each frame and then everyone will be impressed

  • boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i hate you get that stupid vid off now ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its a good tutorial though

  • togeter hahah

  • You star! I knew this SHOULD be possible, but there's no way I would have worked it out without this tutorial. I'm using Premiere Elements 10 - and this works pretty much the same way - dialogue boxes look slightly different but the process is the same. Thank you so much!

  • Should really avoid using auto when taking pictures for stop motion videos... i had massive problem (pictures having different exposure etc.) after i did that. you may want to start the first picture with auto, but the rest u should change it to manual and follow the settings you had when you were on auto.

  • Thanks bro! Really helpful, since all the adobe programmes are like a maze when you're new to it...

  • For some reason I can't select numbered stills once I have selected a photo... any idea how I can fix this?

  • that makes me thirsty

  • lol auto. who uses auto with that camera. i have always used manuel

  • @MrZiimong same, I'm always in manual too.

  • Visit my site guys if you want to get more advanced!

its stopmotionheaven so just google that!

  • which one is easy using adobe flash or adobe premiere ?

  • Thank you kid .......That really helped ...... keep it up :D

  • why do you had to stretch the footage in Premiere? I'm new to Pr and i often notice that the aspect-ratios doesen't work. In FCP everything was fine..

  • you do know that you put it on "No Flash" mode??, the manual mode is the "M"

  • @moviemastersdk He did that first. He turned flash off because he was shooting glass. Well-lit glass at that.

  • @llj355

    that's still not Manual mode.

nonetheless, you can also turn off flash in "Manual Mode"

  • Only download "webcam stop motion"

  • look at my stopmotions i have some cool stuff :) im going to do a new one with aftereffects now haha

  • I use the same camera :)

  • Can u do this with an ipod touch 4 gen with the app imovie

  • @bazoozoo5 Yes you can, you just need to find a way to have your iPod stay in the exact same place for the whole process otherwise your video will be kind of jerky. Then you import all your pictures into iMovie and adjust the picture display time.

  • I just popped up with indian accent as I heard he said ''hey there..'' just like Russell Peters did on his shows in 2004. ''Hey man, aren't we cool?'' XD

  • I know this tutorial voice!

  • get a jug mate haha

  • top clening you was 15 in this

  • Hey pal...I have a question , how i import the pictures into premier as a movie. 2:53 Thanks very much for the tutorial.

  • Would a Sony Cybershot DSC-W190 be okay? Cause I don't have an awesome camera like yours and I'm doing a project.

  • @whateverz095 you can do it with any camera as long as it takes still pictures and can attach to a tripod

  • @gs97tech Thank you!! :D

  • very cool! Stop Animation looks so cool. Thanks for the brief tutorial. :)

  • you know you can make a stop motion w/ a nintindo ds

  • @TheSupersonicfan2000 Really? How?

  • @TheSupersonicfan2000 What the hell NINTINDO???

  • cheers mate thats alot easier than taking video and cutting hundreds of frames out. you should check out my stop motion rat race video too

  • at 1:23 u made a mistake of touching the glass while cleaning the floor and moving it a little bit

  • 2:41

  • Are you from the Netherlands?? Specifically, Maastricht or Limburg??

  • i cant afford 400 dollars

  • you could of put a link for the editing page thingy

  • thanks im making one for a competition wth mega blocks

  • smart kid, nice video. I'm shooting a short stop motion style in a couple weeks, thanks a lot!

  • thanxs:)

  • @YTutorials does IPhoto work for stop motion?

  • Your nails are gross all hang nails and stuff i couldnt stop looking at that to pay attention to your video.

  • Buenisimo....and English, very good!!!

    greetings from Venezuela...

  • nice tutorial! could you check out mine?

  • @ColossusOfRhodes

Actually, your wrong there. The high quality is actually is caused by the amount of pixels the Camera has. If i remember correctly, the more pixels you have on the camera, the better the pictures, and vice versa.

    Nice video

  • is adobe premiere pro CS4 only for stop motion or you can edit video as well?

  • sweden?

  • adobe premiere pro CS4 - can you add sound eg.) voices to it????

  • It is the lens that has the high quality, not the camera... a good video though thanks :)

  • this is a great tutorial! good audio levels too

you sound younger...are you still in your teens?

  • @lovelyys It was almost a year ago. But yes im 16 now.

  • @lovelyys there was a horrible hum in the audio, what are you talking about

  • Thanks dude, you solved my problem...

  • You shuld cut your nails

  • canon is better there coming out with 120 mega pixels

  • This is what I did. I clicked import then selected the first picture and choosed Numbered Stills. Adobe then started importing but stopped after maybe 30 pictures so all I got was a short movie. After that I imported once again; but this time I selected the picture where Adobe had stopped importing the previous time. Now I got another of these short movies. Then I continued importing from where Adobe stopped untill I had a lot of short movies, put them after each other and got a full movie :)

  • Comment removed

  • Doesnt work...

  • If someone got a problem where Adobe doesn't import all your pictures when choosing Numbered Stills it's because you have deleted a picture in the camera and shooted a new one. For example if you got pics numbered 500-550 and then a gap to 552 the program will stop extracting pictures at 550. So you'll have to put a lot of clips together :P Hope this helps for those with this problem, because it annoyed me a lot.

  • @Tovessonen

Hmm.. im going to try this, thanks!

  • I've got a problem. I have shooted almost 200 pictures, but when I choose Numbered Stills it only imports like 30 of them :S Why doesn't the program import all of my pictures? Had the same problem? Dieing to get some help!

  • @Tovessonen

    I have the same problem!

Dont know how to fix this too :(

cost 15-20 bugs, easy to get on amazon

    good video by the way

  • @EphraimRodrigez i had a remote on my sony camera myself, and i used it but i lost it :( now i had to build a rig so it wouldn't move when i press the button

  • thanks. one fucking important check ! simple nice vid.

  • Nice nikon man, my friend has the same model, but unfortunatly it is a pretty lowend version

  • Thank You!! finnaly someone has answered my question!!

  • Thanks!!!!

  • hi. when ever I put in a video or a image file. it gets zoomed in and i cant zoom out. any idea what it is?

  • @airstrife95 nope

  • @YTutorials You are a great help.

  • @airstrife95 Hold your mouse over the movie and drag it to a corner. Then you can make it smaller by dragging in one of the movie's corners :)

  • @airstrife95 maybe you mean your compotition is smaller from your photo image. As you know a photo image are actually big, if in video, maybe it's 2K or 4K, which is waaaayy beyond HD (1980p). All you can do is these : 1st, you can make the photo smaller and match the comp, or go to you composition settings and match your image (not good idea if your photo is larger than HD coz it'll LAG. Just make your comp to whatever you desire and then match the image to the comp :)

  • @airstrife95 its probly on crop

  • @airstrife95

Hey click on your video/photo and then you will see a square around your photo/video then make it smaller so its fit to the frame:D Please visit my channel for Apple unbox, reviews and tutorials and some after effects:D

  • he doesnt import all pictures in one video file. Maby just 5 of them. Why?

  • @FotoVideoPixel how are the files named?

  • @YTutorials IMG_8194, IMG_8195......

  • @FotoVideoPixel try file renamer, to make it img_1, img_2,

  • @YTutorials yea! Thats worked! Thanks dude!

  • @YTutorials I have a similar problem, I have 900 frames and when I got to import only some of them appear like frame 70 to 750. I have them named like this name_final.1.jpg name_final.2.jpg and so on. What can I do?

  • Awesome tutorial.

  • It won't let me change the frame rate when I go to "Interpret Footage".

  • Howcome, when I export the projesct in a vid, my pics seem to dissolve in each other...in the project itself it looks fine, but in vid its like a crappy slideshow...
