In this video, I've just used the computer and it's soundcard. The only pro bit of equipment I'm using is the mic. The effects are available on my old soundcard (Sonic fury).

I bought loads of Karaoke discs over the years, and I'm still buying them now. You can get them on the web and karaoke wholesalers. Some good makes are Sunfly and Sound Choice.

I think some bands use something called an "Effects processor". I use one with my guitar. There is pro stuff all over the internet. Try searching for "sound equipment" or something like that. It might help. Who knows :)

I've been singing since I was a young child. I stopped for a while after my voice broke, then I sort of slowly started again. The best advice I can give is. Practice lots. Never give up, always try to be better, and listen to good advice. I did some how to sing vids on here if you are interested :)

The mic is an "AKG C1000". It's a general purpose mic which is pretty good for vocals in condenser mode. It's not cheap but it's most definitely worth it. The pop filter is home-made. Lol. A 10 denier ladies stocking and a coat hanger (A guy in a studio told me it works as well as the commercial ones).
