I understand your point dude! In the old sonic games it was about choice!!! To go fast or to platform! The new ones is just speed speed (let go of the controller have a cup of tea) speed.
I'm glad Sega finally realized 3D gaming wasn't cut out for Sonic. I just hope they try to capture some nostalgia from the Genesis games and not make this extremely kiddie.
Oh that's not fair to say. Sonic is definitely cut out for 3D gaming, Sonic Adventure was a fine example of that. The problem is Sonic Team's approach.
It'd be cool if its sonic 4. I hope that it doesn't have any fighting gimmick or countless new anthropomorphic characters. Most of all, I hope that Shadow is nowhere to be seen in this game.
I'm hoping that graphically, the game is like an HD sort of 2D game...like where it looks real and like...vibrant, kinda like 3D, but not like..totally.
