I recorded that jacket pull event and watched it over and over again. What you are doing is not reproducing the jacket pull I saw. Grant's jacket was pulled out and down away from his neck. What you are doing is just pulling a thread down. If they staged the jacket pull, they didn't do it the way you think because your jacket pull looked nothing like Grants. Personally, I find it rather sad that stuff like this has to be recreated to demonstrate that they're bogus. It's a "reality" show about a couple of clowns who "detect" ghosts with instruments that are completely unrelated to the field of "ghost" catching. Despite the obvious silliness of promoting the idea that ghosts are real, anyone who knows television knows about ratings. Getting ratings and viewers is the bottom line. Truth, "evidence," ghost hunting, etc are all secondary to that.
I have personally experienced paranormal activity but I agree that if you believe stuff that comes off a nationalized TV show then you deserve to get duped. Most hauntings I've experienced have been when I was alone, by myself or only one or two others around, and hardly ever in the same room. Places that are haunted can go for months without activity and then suddenly you'll get a rush of it. Spirits don't act on demand, which is the problem with most shows like TAPS.
The real problem with Ghost Hunters is they honestly think that they have figured out the answers to the questions that men and women have been searching for since the beginning of time. It really wouldn't matter that much except for the fact that it misleads so many others. There is a book that explains why we should be aware of familiar spirits and why we should stay away. I just can't mention it here because its offensive to so many others. That is also probably the result of familiar spirits
The paranormal is real but taps is full of shit. I have been working with ghost investigating for several years. I have been around high paranormal activity which involves tugging on clothes, slapping, pinching, and burning. Its easy to say its fake when you haven't experianced it.

The evp that told them "they didn't belong there", sounded like Jay and the sound came through like a recorder replaying.

How else could things turn out. There is no such thing as paranormal activity. Just tv shows that pretend it's real, and then people with "issues" pretend it is real, and get gullible friends to buy into their illness. Personally, I find it rather sad that stuff like this has to be recreated to demonstrate that they're bogus. It's a "reality" show about a couple of clowns who "detect" ghosts with instruments that are completely unrelated to the field of "ghost" catching. Despite the obvious silliness of promoting the idea that ghosts are real, anyone who knows television knows about ratings. Getting ratings and viewers is the bottom line. Truth, "evidence," ghost hunting, etc are all secondary to that.

I have personally experienced paranormal activity but I agree that if you believe stuff that comes off a nationalized TV show then you deserve to get duped. Most hauntings I've experienced have been when I was alone, by myself or only one or two others around, and hardly ever in the same room. Places that are haunted can go for months without activity and then suddenly you'll get a rush of it. Spirits don't act on demand, which is the problem with most shows like TAPS.

The real problem with Ghost Hunters is they honestly think that they have figured out the answers to the questions that men and women have been searching for since the beginning of time. It really wouldn't matter that much except for the fact that it misleads so many others. There is a book that explains why we should be aware of familiar spirits and why we should stay away. I just can't mention it here because its offensive to so many others. That is also probably the result of familiar spirits

I have been working with ghost investigating for several years. I have been around high paranormal activity which involves tugging on clothes, slapping, pinching, and burning. Its easy to say its fake when you haven't experianced it.

I've been a paranormal investigator for 22 years and have performed hundreds of investigations and I've never had so many dramatic instances of paranormal activity in any one night as these guys seem to come across on a routine basis. I'm not saying I know they're faking it, but I am saying that I'm suspicious. Objects being lifetd and thrown, jackets tugged...these events are the 'holy grail' of a paranormal investigator & not easy to come by but these guys seem to find it everywhere. Hmmmm...

In retrospect they've been faking stuff since at least season 2. It's just gradually gotten worse and more rediculous as they've gotten more over confident to do it. If the live show wasn't live they would've been able to edit out the misshaps.

I noticed when Grant and Jason were in the area where he started getting tugged, that he had his right hand in his pocket. Now I'm very observant and so I caught on real fast when Grant began to tug. First of all, Grant always has both hands out doing evps and other technical stuff. I knew when his hand was in his pocket, not only was his jacket being yanked, but we were! The evp that told them "they didn't belong there", sounded like Jay and the sound came through like a recorder replaying.
