Reminds me of the guy that flipped out and called me a fat piece of shit because he made his right hand turn into the left hand lane and cut me off...
Its like bud you're the one at fault if you hit me I'd be the one getting money not you...
The only thing you did in this video was speeding but you constantly checked your blindspot and signaled every lane change and turn. You were driving accurately and precisely with the thought of others by signaling and looking. She did neither. (A late signal brief moments before you swerve lanes doesn't mean anything.. it's no better than not signaling at all)
Also, a blinking signal does not give you the right to switch lanes. You still have to safely merge... the burden was on her, not you.
@dodgerider26 I admit to going a little fast, but I do try to communicate my intentions clearly. I always look over my shoulder before switching lanes. Notice after the overpass when I take that right past the cones, I still looked over before changing lanes even though the road was blocked off and no one was there.
Others keep giving me flack about speed but don't realize that the overpass has 1/4 mile visibility downhill and I know every pothole as I've done that road (speeding) 100 times.
@dtmbcorp Yep, couldn't agree more. I only mentioned the speed as others might have complained about it, but from what I could tell you were not driving in a poor fashion at all. Speed doesn't kill... failure to pay attention kills and speed only compounds injuries when they do occur, but you are the one taking the risk. That lady was, as many drivers are, unaware of her mistake and then defensive about it after you flipped her off. She felt attacked when she was clearly in the wrong.
Look at the room I gave the truck too, I intentionally kept my distance so he wouldn't feel pressured to speed up out of the way as he was the only one in front of me. I even wave when he gets out of my way, so he knows that I appreciate it whether it was meant for me or not. When I slowly overtake and act like a normal car for the only part of the video I do, that's when I get fucked. Too funny. She said the truck cut her off, but he was going faster than her and outta the way. People are crazy
@seajist Woman was fucking crazy. Her arguments were nonsense. The first thing she says to me is total bullshit: "You were too close to me." If you watch the video when she cuts me off, I'm on the FAR side of MY lane. People, man...

that sucks, what an awful exchange
doesn't matter who's fault it is if someone bumps into your bike with their car. the result would not be good.
