By the way I'm a Chicana that grew up on the Eastside of San Antonio, TX (predominantly Black culture) and most of the women did not shave their legs. And while there are many Black women that do shave, many women from various cultures feel they do not have to adhere to this country's askewed view of beauty. I applaud them!

I am responding because the NY Daily News turned it around and stated that Monique was rude to Barbara Walters, when she and Joy Bejar were definitely the instigators of any defensive response they may have received.
