@bxxder2008 .. you mean a "steadicam". Sure if you happen to have one, and assuming you want to walk around carrying that contraption, or that it fits in the car, then sure, why not!
@MatainaisRegs .. tell me about it !! (un)fortunately at the time the video was filmed the gas prices were around $3 per gallon (3.785 liters) as such not many people were concerned. All this is about to change for ever !!
Have you heard or tried VirtualDub with Deshaker plugin to help stabilize the shaky videos coming from hand held video cameras? If so, could you do a tutorial on how to use it, specifically with the Vado HD? If not, you should check out the video comparisons of before and after using VirtualDub with the Deshaker plugin here on youtube. You may want to use them for your videos.

i have cyberlink powerdirector 8 and i cant seem to get videos stablized like you did? could you send me a message on how to or make a video?

click on any video file in the "timeline" (lower part of the screen)
then a couple of button will appear over them .. one of them is "Fix/Enhance" - click that
A new screen appears and the 3rd option is Stabilizer .. use the +/- to adjust how much you want the clip to be stabilized and then hit ok.
That's about it, hope this helps :)

is there a special thing you do to get image stabilization on the software ?
raydvd 2 years ago
no, it is part of the software, it can be found under "Fix / Enhance" .. i have the basic PowerDirector (without any upgrades)
- hope this helps

: ) it uses some of the frame (i.e. the image on the left is wider) but in situations like that it may be a fair trade-off.
I was surprised that the quality did not degrade noticeably either.
