I wish that this guy was my room mate in the hospital, anything to make me laugh. I had a hemangio blastoma removed from my brain stem/cerebellum and Im finally NOW able to smile and laugh like this 6 months later. Thanks for sharing this, it made things feel a little better!
Bless his heart....good spirit. I have an AN and I've been putting off surgery because of financial reasons but. My MRI was a few years ago and the size was a little under 2.5 but they told me they recommended going ahead and having the surgery but if I wanted to wait awhile I could. They were going to do gamma knife and remove some of my menigiomas through an operation but those are pretty small.
i had a 5 cm surgery iIM hom4e now and will get the gamma knife procedure for the remainder its a miracle that it was discovered still dizzy and weak surgery was in September.
i had this surgery 4 months ago. its hard the post op sucks but it gets better. wow i was still in bed in ICU 3 days in lol. I just found out that i may have a recurring AN so i may have to do this all over again. yay.
I had an 4 cm AN too, but the doctors couldnt take it out. I went bad and now i have Bell´s Palsy and the left part af my body has ataxia, you have no control over the body. The surgery was 11,5 hours, i think the doctots screwed it up. I was a month on the ICU and had 5 months rehab, i can walk now and i don´t need a wheel chair any more. The first 3 months my swallowing muscles were paralysed and i had infusions in the first month. I lost 19 kg. So if you have a surgery, DON´T DO IT IN GERMANY
your doing well, i am 14 months post op, my AN was over 4.5cm, i was left with facial palasy which is still improving, i am deaf in one ear now, the balance is about 90%.
I had this same surgery in 1987. Things do get better as time goes on. Lost hearing on the left side still have some paralysis on that side. I do miss listening to stero. My left eye tears up when ever I eat but nobody but me notices. Keep up the good work,
