  • These are my favorite episodes!

  • the songs from this episode are amazing. the two episodes are amazing. i rewatch them once in a while.

  • I know how House feels. I'm miserable and I have had chronic headaches for the past five years. But I am trying to get better but the pain won't go away and that makes living really hard. I really love the scene.

  • Doesn't hurt here

  • which episode is this 1??????

  • People In Planes - Light For The Deadvine

  • Does anyone know the soundtrack for this scene?

  • @lemonsaresocoollike The last song is passing afternoon ( iron and wine ). There is also a beautiful song in this episode called re stacks, and it's from bon iver

  • The best scene

  • emotion T_T

  • "Well...... You can't always get what you want"

  • Can someone tell me the song 1:30 - 2:10 ???? The piano part ???

  • I love the awesome music when the scene pans into the bus.

  • This just shows how crazy good House used to be.

  • Perfect scene.

  • who was the ****** that disliked this video

  • brillant scene.

  • Amber was so beautiful in this scene. Her kindness really shone through and they did the scene well. By far one of my favorite scenes of House, might even be my all time favorite.

  • music from 1:32 - 2:10 please

  • @megajesus66 iron & wine - passing afternoon, i think

  • @megajesus66 Iron & Wine - "Passing Afternoon"

  • @TheRagingZombifier

People In Planes - Light For The Deadvine

  • What's the piano music that comes on after Amber says "Get off the bus" please?

  • People must have thought the disloke button said dis-i-like

  • @cmshow123 Maybe the scene is too touching for them.

  • one of the saddest but best played scene in house.I love this two episodes very much.cause sometimes you can see, what kind of human house really is, under his hard surface.

  • Probably the best 2 episodes i ever saw in my life !

  • @thematrixforever The bus crash was one of the most amazing sequences I have ever seen for TV. Just absolute chaos. and a bus set really flipping on its side. Made for some great images.

  • i just amazing. This dialogue is so touching...

  • House's Head and Wilson's Heart were seriously some of the best episodes of the whole series, and my personal favorite. I can't watch them without crying.

  • "Because it...it doesn't hurt here"

"I don't wanna be in pain... I don't wanna be miserable.."

"And I don't want him to hate me...." --"You can't always get what you want...."

Omg...those exchange of words is what pushed me over the edge...poor House. Goddamit I love this show!!

  • does anyone know who does this song???? please let me know!

  • @jesterzgrl2027 People In Planes - Light of the deadvine

  • Wow! 1 dk

I think that House logged in and disliked this for some reason...

  • @alynG He didn't want us to see that he can acutally behave like reasonable human being :P

  • somebody got confused and mistook the dislike button for the like button.

  • Whats is the song 0:12 - 0:39?

  • @DeExtraT Light for the Deadvine

  • @colberja Thanks!

  • @DeExtraT U R welcome:)

  • "I don't want to be in pain, I don't want to be miserable"

    Three seasons later...

  • this is the saddest scene in House I think....

What House says, that he doesn't want to be in pain, he doesn't want to be miserable and he doesn't want Wilson to hate him...And then Amber's "You can't always get what you want"...

It's so sad...Especially when the song starts..

  • 600th to like :)

  • Великолепная сцена. 4х15 и 4х16 лучшие серии за всю историю сериала.

  • That scene was perfect.

  • "Because it doesn't hurt here" :( ♥

  • "Well...You can't always to get what you want..."

  • Passing Afternoon - Iron and Wine (aka, amazing song with alot of heart)

  • Oh my god...I'm so moved. Unbelievable. ;(

  • what song is on the end??!

    made me cry too!

    :(

  • Umm what's the song at the very beggining, like till she says not yet?

  • @MrPunchYoNuts People In Planes - Light For The Deadvine

  • The worst part is, I hated Amber when she was working for House, but fell in love with her after she was with Wilson. She should have won an Emmy for this scene alone. Her facial expression when he asked her if he was dead was pure gold.

  • This episode made me cry....haha

  • This seriously made me cry. I'd never cried so hard when watching an episode of House.

  • :11 is my favorite part of it anyone know what song it is?

  • @munky1265

It's "People In Planes - Light For The Deadvine" :)

  • i wonder if i could choose the right answer

  • So basically if you stay in the bus you wont wake up from your coma and you die...

  • who ever dislikes this doesn't deserve their sexual organs

  • anyone know the song at :12

  • I would stay on the bus.

  • I felt bad for House when he watched Wilson walk away from his room at the end.

  • does anyone know the song that starts at 1:32?

  • @SuperFunkeyMonkey1 Iron and Wine Passing afternoon

  • this bit really gets me cus of house, this isn't like the classic version of 'you're almost dead, do you want to go back or move on to the next part' house believes there's nothing after death so his life has become so painful, so miserable and he's so worried about wilson hating him that he'd rather not exist, to just stop and just... end.

  • This is what I love so much about the show. Its got so many different sides. Theres love in it, hate, loss, pain, (a lot of) diseases, chronic diseases, friendship, and nothings actually perfect. Just like life, for real.

  • the greatest scene, such a great image -- you take the white bus to eternity.............

you just sit and drive and drive and never arrive...................

  • 0.18-0.28 gave me sick ass goosebumps

  • The best two episodes in one of the greatest TV dramas ever... This final scene was an epic finale to the season and one of the most powerful moments in all of television. I love this ending and I think that the one person who dislikes this has no heart. maybe its just me though.

  • As a man who never cries EVER, I can honestly say this got the waterworks going for me.

  • I'm really miss Cut Throat Bitch, it was really funny how she and House had to share custody of Wilson like a divorced couple XD

  • The sad thing is that we all, at some point, end up feeling like House. Sometimes we think we would like nothing better than to stay on the bus and avoid our pains.

This scene really breaks my heart.

I love the actress who played "Amber" and she was also very good in the UK show, "The Book Group".

  • so sad :((

  • "Well, you cant always get what you want."

WAAAAAAAAAHH!!! DAMMIT, when the music started to play, I cried again. Even though this is a vid of 2 minutes. The way he walks away and leaves her behind... Jeez, I damn love this show.

  • The most real House has been.

  • Corr, this scene really is so sad, on the verge of tears here :(

  • I LOVE YOU AMBER!!!

  • crying my eyes out over here ;_;

  • What is the name of the song at the begining plsss someone respond!

  • @hacker7017 People In Planes - Light For The Deadvine

  • Amber: "Well... you can't always get what you want :)"

House: ">_> what the fuck did you just say?"

House: "Fuck this, I'm outta here."

  • This put me on the brink of tears; the end of this episode. Not just the fact that the person Wilson loves dies in his arms, but how House realizes the consequences, even if it's just for a brief moment. This is -very- well done medical drama/comedy.

  • fucccccckkkk ilove it so muchhhh...........i love how he accepts that u cant get what u always want ........thats a great stride for the house

  • Such a beautiful, well-acted scene. Definitely one of my favorite scenes from a television show ever.

  • I feel like this also... I love House because I am like him. I feel pain always. My back is bad. I take mega-doses of pain-killers which will probably eventually kill me. I have no choice, like him. He makes me cry all the time to watch, but in a way the crying makes me feel better about my situation. Someone else understands what it's like to be in constant pain, even if it is a fictional character.

  • @Flutistno3

    the same here dude.

  • This was THE ending of House MD series. I still watch it and I'm somehow enjoying the new episodes, but REAL series that were first four seasons ended here. This moment is like the place where it all connects. House admits his misery AND I just love how his own subconsciousness backfires with that "you can't always get what you want."

Season 5 had an amazing ending too and I would say that it would be even better for the definite end, but the spirit of the first seasons culuminated here.

  • "You can't always get what you want" House's favorite musical qoute used against him thats what made me cry in this scene, but this was a very touching season of House and the season that he lost one of his new Doctors to suicide and started seeing things.

  • @Sever607 you mean season 5 :)

  • @CRUZEIROFUTBOLCLUBE yeah but hey were very good seasons.

  • Just got finished watching this episode and cried.....

  • what is name of first song plz???

  • @Untilia It's People In Planes' "Light For The Deadvine".

  • "I don't want him to hate me."

Honestly, I cannot think of a more touching friendship (both in real life and fiction) than House and Wilson's. That a man as "damaged" and antisocial as House can feel such genuine affection towards Wilson is incredibly moving.

  • "you can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes you get what you need"

    amazing words

  • sad to see the current state of the show.

  • what is that song ? pls ;o))

  • @canimax1 The one at the end? Passing Afternoon by iron and wine

  • @TiffanylovesRP díky moc ;=))

  • 2:25 probably one of the best shots of Amber. She was so beautiful at the bus :' )

  • "It doesn't hurt here, I don't want to be in pain, I don't want to be miserable."

    This is amazing.

  • I loved Amber!

She was the only person who could counter House!

    :(

  • I cried. For a long time. I love Hugh. Only he could pull that off.

  • Hugh Laurie us such an amazing actor

  • The song that plays at the beginning of this vid works really well with this scene. It was a favorite before I saw this episode, but when I saw this scene it galvanized that. Thanks for uploading this!

  • GREAT scene. The beginning is chill inducing with the bright light & the music & talking to Amber after she's gone.

  • Cuttrought Bitch

  • @rockal98 is "Cutthroat bitch"

  • what season is this in?

  • @CriticCafeteria Look in the title! 4

  • The song at the beginning startled me when they played it after 'Passing Afternoon'. Lol :P

But this scene is amazing. It made me cry even more.

  • This scene is EPIC, just as this episode. Hugh and Anne are great!!

  • Okay I found the song by myself :) Light fot the deadwine by People in Planes :^)

  • @JackSparrowILU i love that <3

  • @JackSparrowILU BIG THX!!! :D

  • God I love this episode, I cry every ten minutes ;) So touching when House says: "I can't. Because it doesn't hurt in here. I don't wanna be in pain, I don't wanna be... miserable. And I don't want him to hate me." In that part I just can't stop crying, no matter how many times I've seen it, who saw me or laughed at me.

BTW, what's the song that begins in 0:13? Love it! <33

  • watched this ep today for the first time - there were so many bits I cried at: the bus crash when house and Amber try to grab each others hand; Wilson saying goodbye to Amber; and then in this scene for some reason when house said "he's my best friend" it really got me going :(

  • When they ( the members of the team) say goodbye to Amber....I am a grown man but I cried like a baby when I saw it first.

  • esse episódio é foda, lembro que chorei horrores.

  • I love when House says, I dont want to be in pain i dont want to be misrable !!!

IT IS SOOO TRUE, so many of us go on with sarcasm and bitterness in life but the truth is we don't want to be misrable or upset.

  • I loved this scene and i agree with the logic on death. Thanks for posting this video!!

  • Every square inch of this scene is awesome.

  • Everybody wonders where we go when we die. I'd like to think it is a place where there's no pain, no disease, no war, no starvation, just a paradise world of peace. I thought this was a really touching scene, saw another side of House.

  • does anyone else think that that could of actually been amber speaking to house? the bus surrounded by light and mist must of signified something. maybe it was the space between life and death and if hosue had stayed on he would've died, but amber told him to get off.

    or

the whole thing could be a house's imagination....either one's good

  • Love the song at 00:12 xD

  • Amber looks like an angel in this scene

  • omg lol, stupid idiot who uploaded the clip, its cut when the good part begins lol

  • @noipstrootco Yes, it does.

    Cheers

  • This was one of saddest scenes in all the series

  • which song is of the minute 0:25??

  • @vichalo1 light for the deadvine, by people in planes

  • "Because it doesn't hurt here" was the part where the waterworks started for me.

  • @Ellbell72 Same for me, takes quite a bit to get to me but seeing House's vulnerability and how much he loathes the pain and what it has made him... yeah, that really got to me.

  • i almost cry with this final scene xD

  • I think they have feelings for each other. Deep down inside, I mean. House and amber had more chemistry.

  • this scene shows a classiic existential problem...."the Abusrd"......but see how house just accepts it and continues......thats the only solution why know of

  • This show always has great music.

  • awesome music when he wakes in the bus

  • Amber : "Well, you can't always get what you want..." House : Nodded and walk away

    Just epic.

  • whats the song?

  • @john26989 The first song at the end is, People In Planes - Light For The Deadvine and the second song is "Passing Afternoon" - Iron & Wine

  • Respond to this video... The first song at the end is, People In Planes - Light For The Deadvine and the second song is "Passing Afternoon" - Iron & Wine

  • Would you get off the bus?

  • @kscopi I wondered the same when I read the last Harry Potter book. When he's at the trainstation-heaven.. Would I have the strenght to go back to reality, pain and all the negative emotions? Very tough question.

  • @zusjeszondernaam Mmm, I find it amusing that this is portrayed as a choice between literal life and death, when it's really a choice between taking chances, doing what you want, really LIVING and letting your life be ruled by fear by distracting yourself or wearing a mask. It's a more applicable question than most people appreciate xP

  • @kscopi No...and yes I know the question was rhetorical.

  • @colberja I think I'm the only weird person who likes when people answer rhetorical questions haha. Can I ask why not?

  • @kscopi No.

  • @colberja Fair enough.

  • @kscopi No.

  • @kscopi I don't think you have a choice.

  • House M.D. does my brain in! I love a show with great writing!

  • someone knows the music at the beginnig please?

  • @thesadofus It's called "Light for the Deadvine", by People in Planes.

  • lol, the "I dont want him to hate me" part probably had like all the h/w shippers screamin their heads off., loved this scene, with the music and then just silence, ugh powerful scene

  • i don't mean to interupt this discussion but whats the song at the end of that clip??

    I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!

  • Comment removed

  • thank you : )

  • it's "passing afternoon" - by iron and wine!

  • @brokenxstitches no its light by the deadvine by people in planes

  • woah, woah, this is not the place for an argument on religion! c'mon y'all, just enjoy the show and leave it at that.

  • If your irrelevent q.q has started from the whole idea that he's talking to her 'ghost' then that's wrong.

This is House's subconcious talking to him, in Amber's form. There's no just reason for it; that's just how it is. House realised before he went into a comatose that nothing could be done for Amber, so he assumes here that Amber's dead.

It's such a sad scene but.. you really get to see him as he really feels in his head. You'd never see that usually. Best finale of a season of House imo.

  • Agree totally

  • I don't care about your debates on whether or not there is a God.

I'm an Atheist.. and I'm actually looking at this argument and saying both sides are retarded.

This is a video about a scene from House. So please stfu and leave this space for people who want to talk ABOUT the video, rather than look at some q.q tl;dr shit that no one is really interested in.

In the end you're both gonna be dust. Why the fuck argue about where your dust ends up when you die?

    Case closed. Stfu.

  • I AGREE

  • awesome scene
