Lenovo ThinkPad T41 Laptop Computer

i have one of those. the thing that goes first is the power adaptor-jack. it wtill works but the power adaptor wobbles around alot. not sure how much longer it will survive.

except for that this is a great laptop. i recommend it for any business man who is looking for a new laptop. can't go wrong with ibm

lol only 512 mb of ram my laptop is the same size and it as 4 GB of ram.  lol and that only only as xp on it on i have window 7. maybe its a older laptop?

I still work on the T41. It works like a charm with Windows 7. It's just the perfect laptop for me: small, high resolution screen, fast, cool (as heat, we all know it doesn't beat a Mac in the design department but it's OK with me. I like the "corporative" look) and quiet

it has speakers and a built in microphone (really good quality, cause it is placed far away from the fan). The speakers are in the front of this unit.

This is not a T41 laptop; most likely a T61. IBM never made a widescreen T41. Buyer Beware!

You are right. I realized that after looking at the sides of the keyboard. Widescreens have little extra space there. Maybe its the aspect ratio of the video itself thats making it look like a widescreen.

Get the 1 Gig ram makes life seamless...and the

thing is feather weight...The ATI card is well worth

it also...dissipates heat like a dream cause it is made out of metal not plastic!! the styling is to some people "dorky" but the value is immense!!

You can find plenty of RAM on an Ebay search... just search for Thinkpad T41 RAM and you're all set. Maximum you can put in one of these is 2GB; as the specific 1GB mem sticks are a little pricey you're looking at about $80-100USD to max it out.

Oh, God. Why you guys show us something FIVE generations old! Not to mention the latest T400/T500, there were T42, T43, T60 and T61, which are much better and faster than T41.

BTW, WXGA becomes available from T60! Not T4X.

I got one of these, it's not too bad. It replaced my Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop which I was never really satisfied with(I got what I paid for...in general I find Dell to be crap anymore). Anyway, I had 1.1 gig in the Dell, and changed the processor to a 2.0 Pentium(desktop cpu)- Let me say this, the T41 eats it for lunch in terms of speed, even with less memory. Faster hard drive, seperate video controller, Pentium M(= 2.4 Desktop CPU) means faster than you might think.

i bought my refurbished thinkpad (im on it right now) for 400 bucks but it was in pretty much new condition. i would estimate that you would get 150 to 300 for yours
