Fantastic version by this great singer, but I think that there was someone who sang it before the great George Strait did his wonderful version. I'm trying to find it in my collection of cd's and let you know. Great video!!!

and Daniel O'Donnell also had one. Can't think of anyone else

My favorite Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell has a version of this George Strait song too and he did it a very good job with it. But I really like Jerry Williams' bouncy version that you posted. I happen to think this is a very good version of this song. I'm not that learned about modern country singers, but this guy does have a good voice.
