@MerkabaStar I don't know I've just been watching a lot of videos of those huge powerlifters benching insane amount of weight and arching their backs to an unnatural arch. Then I saw this video and he said keep your lower back to the bench and it made sense to me.
@slayerscotty13 If you breathe at the top and not when your going down then your not going to have enough energy to lift it back up. All the air is used up by the time the bar is at your chest.
This guy is a loser. Certified means nothing nowadays. Your back should be slightly arched. ANY trainer worth their salt knows this. This is the optimal position for lower back support and stability. It doesn't help you "cheat" with a slight natural arch. People don't know that the lower back and back in general is integral in pressing movements. But they don't go over this in most cereal box certifications.
Not 100% good.. Don`t breathe out before the bar is held by stretched arms. Make sure to lower the bar right on or just a bit underneath your nipples. Not to the middle of your cheast...
this is NOT how to do bench press... ...horrible...

Youre doing it wrong.
youre back must be in arch(butt stays on the bench at all times).
youre elbows need to be closer to your body.
youre legs should be helping you increase your arch by pushing up(feet stays on the floor).
go look for mark rippetoe bench press videos and learn it the right way.
