  • What is that brush holder she's using? Can't find it on Joe's site and it looks perfect for what I'm looking for.

  • :D

  • Thanks for the lesson!

  • Nancy, thanks so much for bringing us the lesson! I really learnt a lot!

  • All Painters cheating from mother Nature...are free for everybody copy to be better .

  • Nancy, what do you think of artists who trace their images from a photo? To me, that's cheating ....like paint by number. Just wondering. I'm astounded at how many artists do that.

  • @skipperooney

Just because you trace a photograph doesn't mean you can paint that drawing it still takes a lot of talent....I draw & I trace the drawing takes a few weeks a tracing takes 15 minutes. I take lots of photos and there isn't anything wrong with blowing the pic up and tracing it!

  • Nancy....superb teaching! Your explanations are clear and sensible and reflect how I think about watercolor. I've appreciated all of your tutorials and have learned much from them. Thank you and I anticiplate any new videos you make.

  • I just started taking a watercolor painting class that is only 2 classes long and decided to see what was out there on You Tube as far as Lessons for beginners like me. I love your step by step video and the details and explanations that go into the lesson. This video was a great help. I hope you post more in the future!

  • Really nice tips. THANKS so much! So many demos seem to be more about exhibiting than teaching. Appreciate you!

  • Thanks for this tutorial! I paint on my..floor ahaaha. My carpet is now a lovely mix of colors. I got my watercolors as gifts so I'm still not proficent with them yet, this helped alot though!

  • Excellent...thank you for your clear teaching method and good info.

  • great step by step tutorial!! thanks :)

  • Well presented Nancy, thanks.

  • very helpful, but where is part 2???

  • What's the water thingy? I never seen anything like that before. and.. sorry, but the technique of the water thing reminds me of a toilet (with the flushing)

Anyhow, that "tutorial" is really nice. I love to work with watercolour myself (because I have alot of them from my elementar school time).

And back then as a kid I had big problem to use them. Not so much nowadays.

  • @sionatube lmao was wondering the same thing n it does remind me of toilet flush lol
