We have set plans on uploading weekly, but AP classes and the fact that I live 15miles away from the other guys make it hard. (strange school boundaries) but hopefully our subscribers will forgive us once we release our next two films- one will be good, the other- [CENSORED] EPIC!!!!
Informative as always Tim. Thanks a lot. I also really struggle with regular uploads because my videos take forever to make. Really looking forward to the Creators tip.
@reelseo That would be very interesting Tim. I'm currently revising a 2-hour DVD and I'm intending to serialise it on YouTube, mainly so I've got something to upload on a regular basis (for a few weeks at least). But I can't help still being tempted to upload the whole thing and target a bigger viewcount. Maybe I'll do that anyway after the serialisation.
i think i am going to continue to find "regular content" to be the hardest challenge as my style of videos are so labour intensive and time consuming to produce. It will be interesting to see how things evolve with sponsored youtube etc channels, That may be the only avenue for some content producers, and is more how things currently happen in the TV world.
@Turnah81 Yeah, I hear what you're saying, but not every video you produce has to be labor intensive. What a lot of the guys do who aren't full-time YouTubers is create a consistent featured video maybe once every week or two and during the week they just basically record some thoughts in front of a webcam really quick, just something simple to engage with their audience. Maybe something like that could work for ya?
@poolboyinla Thanks for the feedback! I see it promoted a lot, as well, along with most of the other things I cover in these videos, but I know a lot of our viewers don't keep up with that kind of stuff as well, so I try to mention it just for their benefit.
Thanks for watching just the same! Really appreciate it! :)
Looks like you have to signup at Chill using Facebook account info... bummer as that means you can't easily set up as your business, but only your "personal" name. Is that the case?
@VideoLeadsOnline Kinda. They have a special account creation login using Twitter for brands and businesses, but I don't think that's publicly available yet. You could contact them and ask for it, though. Maybe they'll give it to ya.
@reelseo Thanks for the tip Tim, I had already contacted info @ chili . com and they offered me that Twitter signup thingy... have not done it yet but will soon.
trying to follow on Chill, but wanted to log in with facebook all my friends etc...not sure if I connected or not...BTW you've really become a real pro on presentations..love your work.
Checked out Chill and signed up. Seems like another social video network but a decent way to find some new eyeballs and what can it hurt? Good tip on setting a time and date for your next video. I may have to try that out sometime.
@jonnyethco Cool. Like any social network, chill will only be useful if a massive amount of people are there and active, so I guess we'll start with it and see what happens.
You make great content and well put together, keep it up buddy :)

No interest in the new youtube sponsored content. That gets enough promotion the way it is, without having to hear you guys promote it as well.
But I do appreciate the work you guys go through to try to inform us and keep us abreast of what's going on.
Keep up the good work, Tim.
