actually the high schools, and community theatre's can do the shows as long as they pay royalty which is expensive hence why many schools don't do the shows for budget and so on. one of the schools in my area just did a run of Chicago, so it is possible.

Unfortunately, it'll be impossible to do so I believe. You see, when a musical is currently on a professional stage, such as Broadway, high schools and community theater's are not allowed 'legally' to do the musical for their own performance.
