Whilst I'd say you have some growing up to do yourself as you cant find more than three 'nasty words' in your comment, I'd agree that CoD is Basic, bland, painfully overblown and most of all -easy-. More difficult games like Halo are more my style and even then if I want a -real- challenge I'll call up a few mates and we'll duke it out to a special gametype that makes it a lot more tricky.

I did not allude to you saying that you did. Sorry if it came over that way. As for changes from Halo 3 to 4. We have seen a few changes in Reach that will likely be implemented but more than anything I am hoping for is that tey really pulled out all the stops to make Halo 4 a good narrative. Halo's gameplay is perfect really, every player is equal and only separated by skill and luck. Adding much more to that would unbalance it. I trust them to make the right decision.

I have an X-Box and I'll start by disowning Fable. It's nothing to brag about. Fable 3 was a monstrously shite game from a gameplay point of view.
Halo and Gears are good claims however.
Now the PS3 has God of War and Little Big Planet. As such, in the end, they are pretty equal. Problem being that Kratos isn't as cool as the Chief. 'Nuff said.
@Bushflare I did some research and Sony owns tons complete studios of there own, Naughty Dog and Santa Monica (And such), which made: Killzone 2-3, Uncharted 1-3, God of War 1-3, Resistance 1-3 , Infamous 2, InFamous 2, Motorstorm series, Socom 4, Twisted Metal, Gran Turismo 4-5, Metal Gear Solid etc. I'm getting a ps3 it just has waaay more exclusives. And the Blu-ray! Thats a saving of like 150$! Not to mention the Online is free damnnnn. Why do people still play xbox?

Well that was mostly due to the technology of the times. As you can probably tell, Halo is just about as ballenced as a game can get. Every player gets the same as every other player and the only defining points are skill and, occasionally, dumb luck.
The innovations of firefight and Armour abilities took a fair bit of balancing to make sure one isn't better than the other and even now they are working out the kinks.

If you read the article on halo.bungie.org you'll see that IGN totally misinterpreted the guy's statement. Rather than saying that Halo 4 was a "crazy endeavor," he said that he had lots of ideas that he decided didn't fit Halo and that trying to implement them would be a "crazy endeavor." So he did the right thing and went somewhere else to make use of his creativity and make sure Halo stayed true to its roots.
Moral of the story: don't go to IGN for your information.

I have an X-Box and I'll start by disowning Fable. It's nothing to brag about. Fable 3 was a monstrously shite game from a gameplay point of view.
Halo and Gears are good claims however.
Now the PS3 has God of War and Little Big Planet. As such, in the end, they are pretty equal. Problem being that Kratos isn't as cool as the Chief. 'Nuff said.

@Bushflare I did some research and Sony owns tons complete studios of there own, Naughty Dog and Santa Monica (And such), which made: Killzone 2-3, Uncharted 1-3, God of War 1-3, Resistance 1-3 , Infamous 2, InFamous 2, Motorstorm series, Socom 4, Twisted Metal, Gran Turismo 4-5, Metal Gear Solid etc. I'm getting a ps3 it just has waaay more exclusives. And the Blu-ray! Thats a saving of like 150$! Not to mention the Online is free damnnnn. Why do people still play xbox?

Oh, also, I look at a PS3 and just think. DECIDE WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE! It does a shitload of stuff that other machines do a -lot- better. Whilst it's systems might be a little bit better than the X-Box the games on the console border on painful most of the time.
The only reason that people buy X-Box now is Halo and GoW. I think that that fact alone should protest to you just how good those two franchises are. We -used- to have Mass Effect but that got whored out.

Sorry, but Halo 1-3 seem like the same game just refined. Though the story modes rock, multiplayer just didn't bring anything new to the table.

Well that was mostly due to the technology of the times. As you can probably tell, Halo is just about as ballenced as a game can get. Every player gets the same as every other player and the only defining points are skill and, occasionally, dumb luck.
The innovations of firefight and Armour abilities took a fair bit of balancing to make sure one isn't better than the other and even now they are working out the kinks.
