Hey! Hi! How are you? Thanks for coming to check my videos. He he he, it´s normal you don´t understand. The song is about how things are today...everything is a little fucked up. Take care! See you soon!

That’s a drag that the Comic-Con panel where you got a chance to ask a question was not put on YouTube. Oh well, when you do finally get on the mike again and it’s put on YouTube, send me a link. I’d like to see it.
*500 Character limit seems to be a problem for me . .
As even an amateur song writer, I can tell by the way that the words are structured that they are more than just a fake set of lyrics manufactured for the story. It would be interesting if he were to actually produce some music.
That’s a great question! I’ve never seen Dan Clowes in person. That’s pretty neat. In the post card I got from him, he mentioned that he had a different tune in mind for “Three Blue Teardrops.” So, he must have had actual melodies in mind when he had put song lyrics into his stories.
The last time I ever saw Dan'l. Clowes in person, [San Diego Comic-Con] I asked him if he'd had a specific TUNE in mind, when writing 'Highway 13,' and if so, could he hum a few bars? Every OTHER dumb Comic-Con panel's on You-Tube, how come the ones where I get on the mike and ask a Q. never are? ['Ghost Hunters Intl.' and Kevin Smith, Freaks & Geeks and Richard Kelly, for example...] That really BLOWS!
Glad you like the song PhotoCher and LeshaAnn. Around that time I also did a bit of a song called “Ugly” based on lyrics of a different Dan Clowes character. I can’t remember if that was Howlin’ Thurston or not.
Other comic book inspired songs came from “Love and Rockets.” “Radio Zero” and “Heartbreak Soup.” I’ll have to try and put together a video using images from one of those stories.
@MSchussler Oh yes, oh yes oh yes,, "Ugly" wasn't originally supposed to be a Howlin' Thurston song (HIS big Llewellyn-verse Hit was "Highway 13") but he did a cover version of it. It was in the strip that parodied that "If-it's-not-OBSCURE-than-we-don't-like-it" fanzine of the time, called... Aw, shit. I've forgotten! Was it "Gorilla?" It was the music version/predecessor to the obscure FILM zine, 'Psychotronic.'

Lloyd Llewelyn soundtrack--cool!! Can howlin' Thurston be far behind? Or a version of Barbara Allen?

Wow, I spotted Lloyd Llewellyn, Ernie, AND 'The Eatniks!' (But what of Howlin' Thurston??!)

I really like this! Do you think you could put up an MP3 up somewhere?
