Hey assholes dont fucking blame on Portugal, im portuguese and i hate this kind of events, and i LAUGH OUT LOUD when bulls ATTACK those douchebags,because they laugh when bulls are getting killed and then cry like babies when bulls attack them. Most of the people here really hate this kind of "tradition" in here, but guess what? there are assholes in every part of any country. Here in Portugal some people commit this kind of cruelty right? And how about those other country's huh? think about it.

@kiko64667ify THINK BEFORE SAYING SHIT... there is portuguese bullfight and spanish bullfight, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.. only because spain is bigger than portugal doesnt mean all had came from them.. spanish bullfighting sucks because they kill the bull...Spanish people thinks that they are the best but srsly i dont think so. Bullfight is an art but i think the bulls don't deserve the death. This is not a colosseum, Viva Portuguese bullfighting.

I am from terceira and I never liked bull fights. I think its barbaric. Yes, you heard me right. I have visit Terceira in the past minus the bull fights. I never understood how can anyone justify this tradition. How can anyone justify mistreating animals. I heard some bull fights the bull ends up in the ocean in Sao Matues.

My family is from Terceira and I spend most of my summers there. The bullfights there differ from those of Spain. The bull runs through the streets with a thick chord around his neck and he is not stabbed or killed like in Spanish. The men watching the bull fight will stand in the streets with the bulls and run in front of them with either an umbrella a towel or just themselves, this tricks the bull into running in circles and impresses the women watching in the windows. It's an old tradition.

I lived on this island as a child growing up. My father was an american service man stationed at Lajes Field. I have many great memories of the bull runs and fights down in the center of town . This video brought back many great memories and I became a little sad. It is a very beautiful place and anyone that has ever been there never forgets Terceira. No matter  where you move onto Ilha Terceira always stays in your heart.

Hi lillostbird, I live in the balearic islands and I would love to move to the azores but I am strongly against bullfight, I believe it is barbaric. Now, do they kill the bull in the azores as well or is it more like a game and the bull is unharmed at the end? Thanks
