@HCBailly I don't know if you know this or not but in the american version of this game, where you found Zeppy, the name of the place is really screwed up. In the European version of the game, the version you are playing, it is obviously called Capsule Monster Cave. or something. In the american version, it's so screwed up that I don't even know what it is called. I don't know how it is that they screwed up the translation in the american version.

HCbailey, I'm not sure if you saw my comment before it was forever lost in the sea of comments, but I had noticed how you said that you liked wrenches being used as weapons in RPGs and was wondering if you had ever heard of a game called Dark Cloud 2. It has a character that uses a wrench as a weapon and you can fish and invent items and stuff. I know you'd love it. Well... except for the fact that every floor in a dungeon is randomly generated with event rooms being exceptions. It's my FAVORITE

The name change in battle is extraordinarily odd, generally you do that to save space due to character limits, but half the party has the same number of characters in their name as Artea does... It's like they decided to change it to arty at the last minute, but forgot that their text system didn't have flagged character names... quite strange.

The Egg Dragon's "set of 20 fruits" wish does give you 20 of each of the fruits for feeding capsule monsters.

I pretty much agree with you there. On my previous run, I picked that wish once, but aside from the magic fruits (which did help me get all my capsule monsters to their 4th forms more quickly), I hardly used any of them.

@HCBailly There are times where the Capsule Monsters ask for the fruits during the feeding process. I don't know how effective it is to feed them the fruits, because I've only played the US release where the feeding is totally fubar.

I think they are for quickly leveling up your capsule monsters. Each one gives you like 8 bars or something like that.

@Soulusmaster I was under the impression they might replace treasures later in the game. From what someone else told me, that is not the case. Regardless, the remainder of the game is so easy, that it really shouldn't matter.

HCbailly. Stats increase were:

7 str, 9 int, 9 agi, 9 mgr, +23 hp, +19 to mp. Thats not entirely irrelevant since everything was boosted. I also noticed that everyone's hp increased by 25 to 30 and mp increased about 20 points so yeah i think it is pretty relevant :)

Regarding Artea/Mirka/Karyn... The game is never explicit in this, but I believe that Karyn was either Artea's sister or lover (their relationship is so under-developed it could really be either way; it's just clear that they love each other), and that whatever the situation, Mirka is Karyn's daughter. Artea certainly seems to have raised her as his own daughter by the time Maxim's descendant encounters them in Lufia 1.
