If you want the latest in graphics, then the answer is no. And some people prefer the SWAT and R6 series. I like THE REGIMENT, though; its training module is the best of any tac-shooter I've played and I find its hostage-rescue tactics much more realistic than R6's. You could probably pick it up for no money so I say do it.
Yeah I got The Regiment now :). I have nearly completed it. Completed the Iranian Embassy.. I've also completed the Farm and nearly Metro. All I've got to do is this mission and the last. I've not even done the first one for Parliament so I'm working on that. If you ever want a game just tell me or add me on MSN (I'll send you a message of my email adress) and I'll have a game or two with you :). I bought it for exactly £5.66 in the end off eBay. :D
Ask your self; What is the most important thing? Good grafhics, or Good Gameplay? Like, A game would have excellent grafhics, but the gameplay sucks! would you buy it? Or would you buy a game with not as good grafhics but superfun/good gameplay?
I would pick the second one!! Like SWAT 4 is good looking, but the gameplay becomes better with a mod...
Thanks. Cannot access the game's minimum requirements but they are pretty modest, as it runs on a five year-old engine licensed from Quake, I believe. It's much, much faster than SWAT. You cannot win unless you get through the maps within 75% of a benchmark time and with maximum lethality.
Thanks. Can't argue with any of your comments, they are absolutely fair. It takes a bit of practice for four virtual strangers to employ squad tactics effectively but voice comms help.
No offense meant at all. I appreciate it that it's hard to communicate and move in these types of games, even with voice chat.
I could tell you about the time (in America's Army) I ordered one of my flanking squads to launch an M203 grenade into a room I didn't know was full of friendlies... "okay-window-FIRE"
I think my group mates ribbed me on that for weeks. D:

oh deadly dis 1 is even better than the last just wonderin do u get 2 chse ur weapons and attachments like the way u have a scope on ur mp5

Pretty cool video, though I guess you guys know that you need to organized your squad movements a bit better.
You guys need to trust each other a bit more =p
You could have avoided a lot of mistakes if everyone was checking the danger zones instead of checking if the team ran off. D:
But looks like you guys did a great job in the end.
