I would assume that this couple wants the Acura to look like the buick regal or something more boring. If you own this car, you will experience a direct contradiction to this review - other than the comments on the handling. I am surprised more reviews do not comment on the sport mode - it totally changes the car's feel. Great car (speaking as an owner of a 2011), great looks (if you like cutting edge and not boring) - unbeatable value and technology.
@Markley92 Looks are a little showy and the "super-handling" sounds a little gay but Acura makes some great cars. Infinitis are nice but these are Hondas mixed with BMWs.
This is the best handling car on the market for price segment. Biggest bang for the buck. Acura resale value and 5 star crash rating makes it a great buy. Tough to beat a Honda engine. I appearance boldly says " look at me! ". I love it! Turns on a rail, the SH-awd is simply superb.

If people like the styling it will sell; if not it won't. The comments on the center stack are nonsense. You don't need to manipulate all of these buttons simultaneously after all. Once you learn where controls are you perform these tasks without taking your eyes off the road. Why would you wish for a bland looking premium sedan?

you cant work the tech because your old, acuras are great cars, honda's in general, i had an integra what a great little car never broke down, quick as hell, and gas mileage wow great gas mileage, the tl looks awesome and its fast my friend has one he just got the 2011 sh-awd very quick and easy to understand well for us lol
Oh okay. I'm not sure that the Elantra is bigger inside unless you're talking about a 2012 Elantra. The TL interior is pretty big. Just not a lot of headroom in the back. If the Elantra is bigger inside than the TL then the Elantra has turned into a boat. Not sure why it matters anyway unless you're saying this to say that the TL is small inside. It's definitely not.

My aunt has this car n it is amazin! But don't really like the looks of it though. What I like about the car is the technology of it. You can enjoy driving this thing smoothly listen to music and just relax. I also drove the g37x which is a great car too. But for money wise... I would rather get the Honda accord since cheap n it offers a great feel n looks r better xp
To all of you that are unsure -- I just recently bought a brand new 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD w/18" wheels and this car is by far the best car for its price. Cars like Nissan Maxima and Honda Accord are like Kia's compared to this (in both driving quality, build quality and technology) and the Acura TL definitely has more technology, power and comfort than the mercedes c class and audi a3/a4. The SH-AWD is amazing and this car has a serious amount of power. The Acura TL is just an amazing car

I have the 2010 TL SH AWD and I love everything about it! The car drives like a dream and I love the look. Before this car, I had the 2004 TL and I loved it too. The 2004 held its look and performance against any car and I believe my new TL is one of the best buys for your money. You get the pristine luxury and power as you would with a Mercedes and BMW yet for half the price. You cannot argue with that.
I don't get what the deal with the looks is. The first time I saw it my jaw dropped because it looked so good and futuristic. Acura's models are very cutting-edge. I have a 2002 TL and to anyone who doesn't know the brand, they think the car is newer. That's the thing with Acura's cars, in 10 years this car will still look good.

@Shunsi221977 Actually the SH-AWD starts at CAD 44,990 and the top of the line ASPEC model goes for CAD 51,290. Have to agree with you on the electronics...Acura centre consoles seem pretty cluttered but after a while, they become pretty easy to use, definitely much easier than the iDrive.

We just bought a 2010 Acura TL. My dad test drove the Infinite M, G37, Nissan Maxima, Buick Lacrosse and others. We've owned many Acura's and he said none drives as good as the TL.

I dunno but I ABSOLUTLELY ADORE THE NEW DESGIN. I think it looks great with the new curves and espcially that grill. I think this is a pretty bad review, the interior of this car is fanstastic looking and even though the center stack may look a bit confusing its VERY VERY logically placed and easy to use. Hands down the ugliest "luxury car" manufacturer in the US. The Acura defines nothing that luxury stands for. I mean sure,everyone has their own stand on what Luxury is but Acura is so far from it. Many of you guys are on to something. There is no way that this car is ugly, especially compared to some of the other options out there, and the center stack is not busy. It's at least as clean as the Infiniti's. In what way does the Maxima look better? That's really a stretch. They both have road presence and some strange/exotic details. I like the way the G looks, but the TL does look more interesting. It's a style that grows on you. The interior is IMO the best in its class.

I cannot believe these two even got hired to do this review. Just like someone said earlier it seemed like they were out to degrade the car from the jump start!! They mentioned the TL was ugly...hmm...i think that its gorgeous inside and out. I do admit, it had to grow on me, but now its a work of art. How can you say that they Maxima is a better looking car?? OMG, its hideous! !!

I have the 2010 TL SH AWD and I love everything about it! The car drives like a dream and I love the look. Before this car, I had the 2004 TL and I loved it too. The 2004 held its look and performance against any car and I believe my new TL is one of the best buys for your money. You get the pristine luxury and power as you would with a Mercedes and BMW yet for half the price. You cannot argue with that.

I don't get what the deal with the looks is. The first time I saw it my jaw dropped because it looked so good and futuristic. Acura's models are very cutting-edge. I have a 2002 TL and to anyone who doesn't know the brand, they think the car is newer. That's the thing with Acura's cars, in 10 years this car will still look good.

@Shunsi221977 Actually the SH-AWD starts at CAD 44,990 and the top of the line ASPEC model goes for CAD 51,290. Have to agree with you on the electronics...Acura centre consoles seem pretty cluttered but after a while, they become pretty easy to use, definitely much easier than the iDrive.

We just bought a 2010 Acura TL. My dad test drove the Infinite M, G37, Nissan Maxima, Buick Lacrosse and others. We've owned many Acura's and he said none drives as good as the TL.

I dunno but I ABSOLUTLELY ADORE THE NEW DESGIN. I think it looks great with the new curves and espcially that grill. I think this is a pretty bad review, the interior of this car is fanstastic looking and even though the center stack may look a bit confusing its VERY VERY logically placed and easy to use. BTW Acura's r known for HIGH TECH, if u want something stupid and boring get a camry or something.

Hands down the ugliest "luxury car" manufacturer in the US. The Acura defines nothing that luxury stands for. I mean sure,everyone has their own stand on what Luxury is but Acura is so far from it. To start off they dont even produce a coupe nor a convertible, and not to mention they dont have a high performance vehicle. I mean im sure they are great quality cars but the design and execution in the production of these vehicles are horendous.

They both agree with nodding heads that the Acura's electronics are to complex to understand. She said I use my GPS all the time and found it difficult to understand. OMG. Many of you guys are on to something. There is no way that this car is ugly, especially compared to some of the other options out there, and the center stack is not busy. It's at least as clean as the Infiniti's. In what way does the Maxima look better? That's really a stretch. They both have road presence and some strange/exotic details. I like the way the G looks, but the TL does look more interesting. It's a style that grows on you. The interior is IMO the best in its class.

chryslers pt cruise is only 35% sourced in the u.s.

well 12.5 was just an estimate; its probably more like 15+.
My grandma was driving along in her electric buggy to go shopping and she said she smoked a 4 cyl. Honda off the line, so I believed her.
At any rate, I wouldn't be bragging about the fact that you own an accord (seeing as how electric wheelchairs are faster)

@th3ha1og0d soooooo, you can't back up what you said. good, since the smallest 4cyl goes 0-60 in 9.2 seconds, the larger 4 cyl takes 8.2 seconds, and the v-6 in my sedan takes 6.3-6.5 seconds.
