first off if that was on ice and hockey equiptment was strewn all over the ice that would have been the best hockey fight ever. However i agree the tiger did not own anything, if the triger did she would have latched on to the lions neck and killed him then and there. from what I saw the lion got up several times , and dished out a whoppin of his own, had that hose never been turned on, the fight would have dragged on until one of them was dead, or both of the collapsed from exaustionpardontypo.

Yes, but other people have disputed his claim and said that the lion died, and that Clyde always favoured his lions over his tigers. The lions made more money and were of more value, and some of these people state that the Clyde underfed his tigers to make them seem smaller next to his lions. Who's telling the truth? I don't know. But I do know that is a small tiger, and it looks like he put a beat down on the lion.
Plus if you look at the video the water is focused on the tiger, which goes along with the claim of the other party that states the tiger won the fight. The other party claims that the hose was focused on the tiger to get it off the lion in order to protect the lion, which financially was worth more to Clyde.

technically, the lion has more fighting tactics i.e. their typical lower spine breaking bite they try do when they fight other lions etc and the neck bite they do on their prey. tigers generally only use the neck bite.
Lions need to be in a pride to take down a buffalo but a Tiger can do it alone well the equivalent to a buffalo. There are sub species to tigers and the Siberian tiger is the biggest cat on the planet. Having a mane won't help at all. You punch a guy with an Afro they will still feel pain.

@Blazenwave When did I ever the animals were not real? Obviously they are real, I see no point as to why anyone, including myself, would argue against that. Besides, what I was trying to point out is that through film editing and camera tricks (things of that nature) the fight was made to look real. With animals as powerful as those two cats, a friendly tussle could be made to look like a real fight.
The tiger was holding on really tight on the lion's mane as a strategy to survive because the lion' was hitting hard. That's why in beginning the tiger started out over confident when he attacked the lion, but once he notice that the lion was hitting too hard he began running away. But he couldn't scape so he grabbed onto the lion's name really hard so that the lion wont continue hitting him but even then the lion through him down several times.

I was told that the tiger lost a lot of blood after the fight and the reason the lion didn't was because his mane that protected him. The tiger recover but never fought a lion a again. Tigers have a disadvantage towards the lion and that is they lack of having a mane to protect them from serious bites. The tiger was send away because after that fight it became traumatized and unstable around lions.

A lot of people here are saying this tiger in question is a female. If that is so then it must be a female siberian tiger since I very highly doubt female bengal tigers get larger then the males, and espically to the size of a full grown african lion. So if this truely is a female it must be a siberian female I think.

So any true expert would agree the fight is super close if a lion and tiger fought, though some experts do give a slight advantage to the lion. Still a big Bengal is more than capable of being able to kill a Lion if it is of the same size. If you believe 1930's accounts, it was reported this tiger was supposely 30lbs lighter than the lion.

Clearly the Tiger was smashing on his face with its Paws on the Lion at 1.15 And was fighting harder even from the bottom. At 1.52 you see the tiger has the lion on his back and NECK. The Lion at that point was in agony and kicking free with all four legs. Tiger of course is much smarter and looking for a way around the lion. But I do know that is a small tiger, and it looks like he put a beat down on the lion.

technically, the lion has more fighting tactics i.e. their typical lower spine breaking bite they try do when they fight other lions etc and the neck bite they do on their prey. tigers generally only use the neck bite.

Besides, what I was trying to point out is that through film editing and camera tricks (things of that nature) the fight was made to look real. With animals as powerful as those two cats, a friendly tussle could be made to look like a real fight.

The tiger was holding on really tight on the lion's mane as a strategy to survive because the lion' was hitting hard. That's why in beginning the tiger started out over confident when he attacked the lion, but once he notice that the lion was hitting too hard he began running away. But he couldn't scape so he grabbed onto the lion's name really hard so that the lion wont continue hitting him but even then the lion through him down several times.

I was told that the tiger lost a lot of blood after the fight and the reason the lion didn't was because his mane that protected him. The tiger recover but never fought a lion a again. Tigers have a disadvantage towards the lion and that is they lack of having a mane to protect them from serious bites. The tiger was send away because after that fight it became traumatized and unstable around lions.

And in Beatty's case, it is confirmed beyond counter argument he had larger lions in compairson to his tigers. He only had a few tigers that were or proper size.

Sometimes the tiger won, sometime the lion won since Bengals and Lions can easily go eather way. @psychedashell I saw fur fly numerous times. Think they do have them actually. Pretty fuckin badass fight. Never seen a Tiger go straight up with a Lion like that. No special effects, no stopping point, pure brawl all the way. By the way, anyone who said either of them ran away at any point has never seen boxing or UFC. Sometimes a fighter needs to get out of the way to get better position. Pretty cruel and I wouldn't wish it on any more animals.

So any true expert would agree the fight is super close if a lion and tiger fought, though some experts do give a slight advantage to the lion. Still a big Bengal is more than capable of being able to kill a Lion if it is of the same size. If you believe 1930's accounts, it was reported this tiger was supposely 30lbs lighter than the lion.

A fully grown bangal or siberian tiger would be larger than the lion. and would most definitely kill the lion prob 90 percent to almost always. The tiger has a harder life, more terrain to travel from 1 female tiger to another, traveling through rivers mountain and snow. The Tigers will to survive is stronger.

Clearly the Tiger was smashing on his face with its Paws on the Lion at 1.15 And was fighting harder even from the bottom. At 1.52 you see the tiger has the lion on his back and NECK. The Lion at that point was in agony and kicking free with all four legs. Tiger of course is much smarter and looking for a way around the lion. He wasnt running away because since they were both in that small cage.

I can simply say that I am a US resident, as well as white and I say that a dominant fully grown tiger is FAR more aggresive, and physically superior to a male full grown lion. This is my personal opinion and if people truly did the research they can find that the guy bellow posted about roman records about this match up and "YES" tiger usualy one by the numbers.

Look at 2:40, and identify the position the tiger was in then look at the Lion panic once the hose is turned on and the tiger goes from its back-to it's side- until it was on top of the Lion. Tigers love water, Lions rather avoid it. Analyze the video better before you jump to conclusions.
