Lithuania cannot own Riga either. Latvians are Balts too. But not Lithuanians! Memel and Königsberg are German-built, German cities, German grown, German inhabitants, with Baltic roots that's true. If Lithuania holds Holland for 300 years and we assimilate and mix into the Lithuanian population, then British or German "Germanics" could not lay claim on Holland, no. That was during the subjugation wars in East Prussia by the Teutonic Order (of which also many German-speaking Poles, Dutch, French, English and Danish knights-monks were part!). I all know that. But the Old PRussians capitulated, and were granted equal rights with the German settlers (pacified), if they converted to Christianity (Catholic Faith, like the Lithuanians), and the Old Prussians mixed into the German newcomers very quickly. The marshes and woods were cultivated by Germans.
It was the uprising of native Baltic people against invaders.Despite the fact, that Germans succeded , killed many, forsefully germanised some, some freely convereted into German culture, and "cultivated marsh and woods "of Lithuania Minor, this still doesn`t change the fact, that it`s Balts(Prussians and Lithuanians), not Germans nor Russians , are the ones, to whom this land belongs.

The Old Prussians and Minor Lithuanians mixed into the German people, and their offspring is to whom East Prussia belongs, therefore to Germany.

When I say Lithuania Minor, I mean basicaly territory of what now is Kaliningradskaya oblast`.Prior to German invasion , this land was populated mainly by Lithuanians, except around Koenigsberg, were Prussians lived, so this land belongs to Lithuania.The rest of Prussia is subject of future discussion between Germany and Poland.
And apart from some boroughs in East Prussia, Eastern Germany came into existence due to the invitations to German Monasteries, Farmers, Settles, Noblemen made by Slavic Piasts and the Polish Kings themselves, who gave those regions to ethnic Germans to cultivate and pay taxes for.

It wasn`t thousands of years ago.Process of germanisation of Baltic Prussians started in 13 century and ended in aprox 19 century.And actually large part of what now is Kaliningrad oblast`was populated by Lithuanians not Prussians.And it matters because at the end nothing else matters but truth.

Nonsense. Kleinlitauen's population assimilated into the (now expelled or Soviet-murdered) East Prussian German-speaking population. And they always wanted to belong to the Kingdom of Prussia, even when they still had their own Baltic language (until early 18th century), when nationalism did not yet exist like now. Northern East Prussia is a culturally German-Baltic region, not Russian at all.

Königsberg is a German city. I did not mean to call for the expulsion of current Russian inhabitants, but I criticize military Soviet nostalgia in this stolen city. The Russian inhabitants have human rights too. But please recognize the German civilians' rights and 1945 sufferings too. There is no signs whatsoever ,that Koenigsberg will ever be German.First of all, Koenigsberg, which was founded in 1256 on the place of old Baltic fortress of Tvankste, was never rightfully German , because Germans were always just occupants there, just like now Russians are.And also todays Germany getting less German every day because of low birthrate amongst Germans and big immigrations from Africa and Asia.
You are right on the demographic problems with liberalistic, self-ashamed, egoistic "modern Germany", but that will not change the soul of the city of Königsberg. The innocent non-Nazi German civilians, Catholics, Lutherans, communists, liberal-nationalists etc. were expelled and murdered by this Russian expansionism. The expulsion and revenge only harmed innocent German civilians, as much victims as the Russians were.
It was horoble what Russians after WWII did to Germans and Germanised Balts in East Prussia and it`s sad , that this is ingored by most of the historians ,but it doesn`t change the fact ,that Baltic Prussians and Prussian Lithuanians were the autochtones of what is now Kaliningrad oblast.Therefore nobody else, but Lithuania can rightfully claim this land.
All "Germanised Balts" in East Prussia spoke German (with some Baltic dialect words), felt like Germans, wrote in German and were Germans. And nobody else than the 'Germanized Balts' themselves, that is the expelled East Prussian Germans now in West Germany, have a right to East Prussia. Not the Lithuanians, who are of a wholly different tribe. And Memel/Klaipeda is a GERMAN city tóó.

Ja bardzo kocham swój kraj, naród. Ale niestety realia póki co nie kłamią... Rosyjska Armia jest mniej skomputeryzowana niż nasza, lecz dużo bardziej liczna. Amerykanie mają w czołgu jeden wielki komputer, Rosjanie nie - ale na jeden czołg Amerykański Rosjanie odpowiadają swoimi dziesięcioma bez komputera... Oczywiście nie są tacy silni i mocarni jak kiedyś, i raczej Rosja będzie powoli, bo powoli spychana na dalszy plan, chociaż to ona często ustala warunki.

Königsberg was built by Germans, and the Baltic Prussians assimilated and married with German citizens and new German farmer-settlers. Baltic Old Prussians were not Lithuanians. Lithuania cannot own Riga either. Latvians are Balts too. But not Lithuanians! Memel and Königsberg are German-built, German cities, German grown, German inhabitants, with Baltic roots that's true. But not Litauisch.

Nonsense. The Baltic Prussians freely ceded and assimilated into the German East Prussian population. If Lithuania holds Holland for 300 years and we assimilate and mix into the Lithuanian population, then British or German "Germanics" could not lay claim on Holland, no. Then it would be Lithuanian legitimately.

You got to be kidding me!Teutonic Order was seizing native Baltic lands since 13 century.There was many uprisings against German invaders.Most famous was in 1260 known as The Graet Prussian uprising ,when Prussians , led by Herkus Monte, nearly took control over they homeland.

That was during the subjugation wars in East Prussia by the Teutonic Order (of which also many German-speaking Poles, Dutch, French, English and Danish knights-monks were part!). I all know that. But the Old PRussians capitulated, and were granted equal rights with the German settlers (pacified), if they converted to Christianity (Catholic Faith, like the Lithuanians), and the Old Prussians mixed into the German newcomers very quickly. The marshes and woods were cultivated by Germans.

It was the uprising of native Baltic people against invaders.Despite the fact, that Germans succeded , killed many, forsefully germanised some, some freely convereted into German culture, and "cultivated marsh and woods "of Lithuania Minor, this still doesn`t change the fact, that it`s Balts(Prussians and Lithuanians), not Germans nor Russians , are the ones, to whom this land belongs.

Nonsense. The Old Prussian and Lithuanian tribes assimilated into the German people, and many Old Prussians and Lithuanians (and Poles) assisted the Teutonic Order in combatting the Uprisings against the Knights by the local pagan Prussians.
The Old Prussians and Minor Lithuanians mixed into the German people, and their offspring is to whom East Prussia belongs, therefore to Germany.

By the way, let me make it clear. When I say Lithuania Minor, I mean basicaly territory of what now is Kaliningradskaya oblast`.Prior to German invasion , this land was populated mainly by Lithuanians, except around Koenigsberg, were Prussians lived, so this land belongs to Lithuania.The rest of Prussia is subject of future discussion between Germany and Poland.

Lithuania Minor (Kleinlitauen)was subject of Lithuanian king Mindaugas,patrimony by Lithuanian Grand dukes Algirdas and Vytautas.1918 Act of Tilsit demended unification of Lithuania Minor with rest of the Lithuania into one united country, but it was never honored by Germans.Even Stalin after WWII offered this land to Lithuanians ,but Lithuanian communists denied it.

It wasn`t thousands of years ago.Process of germanisation of Baltic Prussians started in 13 century and ended in aprox 19 century.And actually large part of what now is Kaliningrad oblast`was populated by Lithuanians not Prussians.And it matters because at the end nothing else matters but truth.

In fact Lithuanians were the original inhabitants of eastern part of what is now Russian Kaliningrad oblast`.Original names of many places, which sounds like germanised Baltic names ,is just one of the proves of it. Baltic Prussians lived in western part of Lithuania Minor.Russians got this land as a result of war and war crimes.That`s why this is important discussion.

Nonsense. Kleinlitauen's population assimilated into the (now expelled or Soviet-murdered) East Prussian German-speaking population. And they always wanted to belong to the Kingdom of Prussia, even when they still had their own Baltic language (until early 18th century), when nationalism did not yet exist like now. Northern East Prussia is a culturally German-Baltic region, not Russian at all.

Die Stadt wurde übrigens von der Air Force in Schutt und Asche gelegt. Die Reste der Innenstadt gingen kaputt als Hitler die Stadt zur Festung erklärte. Die ersten, die abhauten, waren die Goldfasane - feige natürlich wie alle Nazis.

Ich weiß um die Geschichte von Königsberg. Ja, die Englische Royal Air Force hat das Stadtzentrum zerbombt, aber leider wird nicht mehr wiederaufgebaut. Ich möchte nur sowjetischen Imperialismus und anti-deutschen Extremismus kritisieren. Ich liebe das russische Volk. Aber sowieso Novgorod Russisch bleiben wird der Seele nach, so auch Königsberg.

Von anti-deutschem Extremismus kann doch keine Rede sein: Das Schloss soll wieder aufgebaut werden, eine Art Preußisches Disney-Land ist in Form des "Fischdorfs" entstanden, es gibt wirklich rührige Russen, die jedes Artfaktes aus deutscher Zeit pflegen. Königsberg ist Vergangenheit. Ein Europa, das den Wahnsinn des Nationalismus ächtet, macht solche Tragödien in Zukunft unmöglich.

Königsberg is a German city. I did not mean to call for the expulsion of current Russian inhabitants, but I criticize military Soviet nostalgia in this stolen city. The Russian inhabitants have human rights too. But please recognize the German civilians' rights and 1945 sufferings too. Stalin and Soviet imperialism destroyed this cultural city of the Kingdom of Prussia. And that is a shame. Königsberg's soul will remain German. But let us reconcile.

So what? So you think that because of what Russians did to Polish officers at Katyn, and because Stalin murdered many Volga Germans, Germans and Poles are allowed morally to expell ethnic Russian innocent women from Novgorod? Of course not. They are innocent civilians. So were the German women, girls, children and elderly expelled or murdered or raped by Red Army and Russian colonists after 1945. Königsberg and northern East Prussia are German in their soul and will remain that way.

Königsberg will be German, despite current Russian administration, despite Russian colonists, despite Russian navy, despite the Russian revisionist historical lies. And I am not a Nazi, nor a German, nor anti-Russian. I like the Russian culture and language. But in Novgorod, Moscow and Petrograd, and not in Prussian-German cities annexed. I venerate Russian Christian art and liturgical splendour. But I do not approve the Soviet Russian crimes against the German innocents.

There is no signs whatsoever ,that Koenigsberg will ever be German.First of all, Koenigsberg, which was founded in 1256 on the place of old Baltic fortress of Tvankste, was never rightfully German , because Germans were always just occupants there, just like now Russians are.And also todays Germany getting less German every day because of low birthrate amongst Germans and big immigrations from Africa and Asia.

The innocent non-Nazi German civilians, Catholics, Lutherans, communists, liberal-nationalists etc. were expelled and murdered by this Russian expansionism. The true Nazis and their Nazi scientists on the other hand were sheltered and safely taken over by the US and Soviet (and Argentine and Syrian, Egyptian) governments for their own scientific and political purposes. The expulsion and revenge only harmed innocent German civilians, as much victims as the Russians were.

It was horoble what Russians after WWII did to Germans and Germanised Balts in East Prussia and it`s sad , that this is ingored by most of the historians ,but it doesn`t change the fact ,that Baltic Prussians and Prussian Lithuanians were the autochtones of what is now Kaliningrad oblast.Therefore nobody else, but Lithuania can rightfully claim this land.

All "Germanised Balts" in East Prussia spoke German (with some Baltic dialect words), felt like Germans, wrote in German and were Germans. And nobody else than the 'Germanized Balts' themselves, that is the expelled East Prussian Germans now in West Germany, have a right to East Prussia. Not the Lithuanians, who are of a wholly different tribe. And Memel/Klaipeda is a GERMAN city tóó.

Balts lived peacefuly in they homeland, when after many unsuccessful attempts to conquer they lands by Poles, polish duke Konrad invited Teutonic Order to help them fight against Prussians and gave to Teutonic Order small land in Kulmas(Culmerland, Chelmno)in 1226.AGAINST THE WILL OF NATIVE PEOPLE, Germans kept spreading they rule in Baltic lands, until they were stoped by Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

Ja bardzo kocham swój kraj, naród. Ale niestety realia póki co nie kłamią... Rosyjska Armia jest mniej skomputeryzowana niż nasza, lecz dużo bardziej liczna. Amerykanie mają w czołgu jeden wielki komputer, Rosjanie nie - ale na jeden czołg Amerykański Rosjanie odpowiadają swoimi dziesięcioma bez komputera... Oczywiście nie są tacy silni i mocarni jak kiedyś, i raczej Rosja będzie powoli, bo powoli spychana na dalszy plan, chociaż to ona często ustala warunki.
