Nice work! Don't mind the criticism. I understand how exciting it is to make a neat machine like this because I too have made a similar thing in the past :-)
Your guess is as good as mine, honestly. I'd give you that time back, but it'd just be wasted watching a commercial on TV or something. Don't worry, I'll probably be removing this video soon anyway. :)
Nope. If I remember correctly it was a piece of styrofoam from a newly bought lamp, and.. I think it was a plastic paper plate holder. Looking back at this thing I realize how insanely fail it was, but for all you people saying "I can do that in one hour!".. I was 15. I hand made a lot of those parts, including soldering together a controller for it (which wasn't shown in the video).
..I had to. None of the fans I could find would give it enough lift to get off the ground. Plus, with handmade blades I was able to make quick adjustments to the angle of each one when needed.
hahahaha lmao. i made one with an upside down foan tray. 2 fans. one thrust propeller and one push lift propeller and 2 nine volt. when finished i was able to move my whole hand underneath it. keep workling
Hi there:) really enjoyed your video! Please make me a big favor: watch my homemade RC catamaran. It turned out pretty good.

No! Please don't remove this video. It has merit as an example of low/no budget ingenuity. I'm jealous of your 53K views & I'm a jerk ..

@JonnehZ
At least you had the ambition and know how to make and post a video.

I would use a 18000 rpm jameco motor
renobaron 3 years ago
isnt't that overdoing it?
I mean, it's probably enough with 12500r/m considering the weight of the hovercraft.
Anoukh 3 years ago
to make these you can use 2 paper plates glued together with macaroni inside and put gliter round the edges..... it works much better!
