  • Hi there:) really enjoyed your video! Please make me a big favor: watch my homemade RC catamaran. It turned out pretty good.

  • how many fans did u use i made one and it just drowned

  • Comment removed

  • took you 5 days to build ? o_O

  • how can i reduce the weight?

  • u made a floor buffer?

  • sweet recently made one out of a old hair dryer fan and motor there only 12 volt witch is handy

  • Nice work! Don't mind the criticism. I understand how exciting it is to make a neat machine like this because I too have made a similar thing in the past :-)

  • It looks like a vacum cleaner :D

  • he said days

  • he said days retard

  • now make 200 more and you can put them together and sit on it

plus that took you a week? are you kindin me

  • Your guess is as good as mine, honestly. I'd give you that time back, but it'd just be wasted watching a commercial on TV or something. Don't worry, I'll probably be removing this video soon anyway. :)

  • No! Please don't remove this video. It has merit as an example of low/no budget ingenuity. I'm jealous of your 53K views & I'm a jerk ..

  • @JonnehZ

At least you had the ambition and know how to make and post a video.

  • @themushroom1 and why did you spend 2 minutes extra on commenting to this..

  • erm, did you make that out of one of those sick bowls you get from hospital?

  • Nope. If I remember correctly it was a piece of styrofoam from a newly bought lamp, and.. I think it was a plastic paper plate holder. Looking back at this thing I realize how insanely fail it was, but for all you people saying "I can do that in one hour!".. I was 15. I hand made a lot of those parts, including soldering together a controller for it (which wasn't shown in the video).

  • Awesome :D

  • it reminded me of those annoying little vacuuming robots you fall over...

  • i could bang thast together in like 10 mins

  • i think ur creative for attempting it and i think its cool and that zjdak11 can suck my dick cuz hes an asshole

  • i call it hovertrash

  • good job

  • lol you can hear the batery dying wtf

  • . . .Damn youtube for making my replies into normal comments. =_=

  • It wasn't made to float, it was made to HOVER.

  • rofl a paper plate Styrofoam and a computer fan nice man .....

  • Hey, I work with what I've got lying around. It was a small side project I did because I was incredibly bored last summer. =P

  • 'hover'craft?

    doesn't seem to be hovering

  • i like it!

  • it would be good if you can polish your car with it

  • HELLS YEAH. 8D

  • omg you can buy one of those for five bucks you moron

  • Holy crap, you even constructed the fan blades?!

  • ..I had to. None of the fans I could find would give it enough lift to get off the ground. Plus, with handmade blades I was able to make quick adjustments to the angle of each one when needed.

  • Looks like a sander..

  • how long did it take you to put that white tape over the cable?

  • . . .uhm.. What white tape? The wires from the controller are just bound together with little pieces of scotch tape..

  • its like sometging to clean your floor :p

  • ladies and gentlemen, the minature floor buffer

  • Lmao, now there's an idea! XD

  • these things never fly or get off the ground

  • i could of built that in 30 minutes

  • dude.. you have got way too much time on your hands..

  • the fan is too bog for the smal paper plate you should use somethig biger then the plate

(sory for my bad englich skills (im german ))

  • I would use a 18000 rpm jameco motor

  • isnt't that overdoing it?

I mean, it's probably enough with 12500r/m considering the weight of the hovercraft.

  • to make these you can use 2 paper plates glued together with macaroni inside and put gliter round the edges..... it works much better!

  • Meh

  • hahahaha lmao. i made one with an upside down foan tray. 2 fans. one thrust propeller and one push lift propeller and 2 nine volt. when finished i was able to move my whole hand underneath it. keep workling

  • It's not bad for the beginning but check out mine...I'm working on it when i have time, but it runs very good!!

  • would a fan out of a computer power supply work better?

  • that took a week to make it shouda took bwt a day!

  • It was done in any spare time I had, I have a life too. >.>

  • even so, you must of spent 5 mins on it a night

  • paper plates are a good base for hover crafts

  • It's not that hard to make a homemade hovercraft!

  • Wow... i gotta admit:this one's better than mine...xD

Good Work!now that you've got over me, i'm gonna try to make a better one!:P ^^

    See ya!

  • Nice job JonnehZ. Yet your hovercraft looks exactly like one of my friend's hovercraft. O_o

  • You're an idiot, rashad.

    XD

  • Yes I am >8-D

  • If you can't tell, the battery actually did die there at the end.. and it kinda just floated in the water..
