Seriously, the Marines should recruit more DI so that each DI doesn't have to work so hard. They're humans and they have families too...just my personal thought.
The first time i saw this video was about 2 years ago....having a daughter of my own, this hit home pretty hard....NOW, that i am a Marine Drill Instructor it hits home even more....tell your husband i said Thank you for his devotion and dedication.
God bless Mam, I honestly don't know how the hell those men (and women) do what they do. I don't even think any of my DI's slept during my 3 months of bootcamp. They are truly amazing, as well as you and all the other family members that support them.
It's their devotion to duty and training that will get me though my upcoming deployment.
Thanks for standing in there. Behind every good marine is a good Drill Instructor, and behind every good Drill Instructor is a Good DI Wife, holding down the camp.

Great Video. Might help other people realize that to most Marines, this IS the most important part of thier day/lives. I don't think that normal person gets what we leave behind on any given occasion and just think of us as a fighting force. I don't care how much of a "Greek God" you think you are, the little ones will always make you melt...
This is just the building blocks..... The true test of every marine is combat! The USN seals may say the only easy day was yesterday, but in a grunts life the only day is today. as a fellow 0311 i figured you knew this.
just tell her to stay away from that jody boy. i personally wouldn't go to boot with a girlfriend back home, too much to think about, for some it might motivate them to "do it for her", and for others, it'll just screw them over and drive them insane when they call home to find jody on the phone with his girl, just my opinion.
God Bless you--what a wonderful video--and what a beautiful child. I too am fortunate enough to be married to a Marine (84-91)(Gulf War vet). We are still involved with the Corps today. My husband is currently the Commandant of a MCL detachment.

oorah and semper fi, im joining the marines next year, my father was in the navy, they get deployed a lot, i know how hard it is to have such an important person away for so long. but its for the good of his family and country so its not in vein.
You have an adorable daughter and you are a lucky woman. Semper Fidelis applies to all aspects of life. Tell your husband thank you for molding young men and women like myself into Marines. They give so much knowledge to us that is invaluable. I wish the best for you and your family. Semper Fidelis and OOHRAH!!!
you have a very beautiful little girl. you are a very lucky woman. i also give your husband my respect for what he does. good luck in the future! (my name is also Hannah)
Your family is adorable. Your husband is very attractive, you are a lucky woman. Your daughter is just as cute as a button. He is certainly earning his spot in heaven by teaching and sacrificing for his family. God Bless all the military personell active and non, overseas and at home. You guys and girls are the best!!!
Absolutely Precious!!! Thank you so much for the loving support and patience you give to your husband! I know your job seems thankless, but we Marine Moms are forever grateful to you!
I never knew their hours were that long. That really sucks. I'm glad they do it though, otherwise who would train our military. She dances just like my nephew. So cute.
Wow. Reading the discription,I never knew the Drill Instructers worked that hard. I thought all they did was yell at recruits and get longer then just 1 to 2 weeks off! Your husband is a tuff man for being able to do what he does. Family really does motivate in all situations because they are always there for you,no matter what. sorry if any of this sounds corny,i havent gotten any sleep yet
Really good job! Please tell your husband I said thank you for all that he does... I'm enlisting in a year, I am a Marine Corps freak. So please tell him we all say thank you!!
look at that motivated devil pup :O)...i hope everything is well with you and i enjoyed the video very much...stay safe and send your husband a hello from a former Marine
OOOOOOORRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all your husband does. Please tell him I said thank you for all he does, he doesn't deserve all the flack he might get from those pussys that don't have the courage to stand up for what they believe in. Please, Please, Please tell him I said thank you.
Thank You for the vid...I ship out to bootcamp MCRD Parris Island in a month a week after my wife is due with our first child... a girl...Your Husbnads service to God, Country , and Corps are very appreciated
