I love how out of place the Jack looks as he tries to patronize DEVO. In 1981 he must have been one fo the last of his breed. I saw a clip of them being interviewed by Regis Philbin last week. It took hardly anything to get him and his wife thoroughly weirded out. All they did was briefly explain the masks and the presence of Jacob, and the awkward pauses were glorious. Compare this nearly 30 year old interview to what it apparently takes now, and that's all the proof of de-evolution you need.
