Finally a version of greensleeves I really really like without exception and i can't download or anything it! Argh! Is there a clean recording of this available anywhere?
I'm looking for a lightweight keys because I'm tired of carrying my Roland Fantom G7 in a heavy case. Is an ipad2 + garageband, SampleWiz or other apps a better solution for playing live then (for ex.) Roland Juno Di? Is it works with quick changing patches during play? What's with latency?
@shadymonster4 For you case I think that a notebook with great VSTis and a light weight controller are the best option (until now). The iPad Music is starting now, we do have very low latency but the audio quality of many apps is not that good up to now. IK Multimedia is working on SampleTank for iOS and there are many good apps improving a lot, so maybe in the near future it will be a good option for playing live.
If you are looking for synth sounds take a look at Sunrizers, iMS-20 and NLog.
Haven't tried yet, but do you think it's possible to use FL Studio Mobile as a master MIDI sequencer, and play Reason instruments via MIDI cable ? I can hardly wait to get home and try this :)
@freitasnetuno No and yes. There is no VSTi or AU implementation for iOS, but many developers are trying to create together something really new using the "Virtual MIDI Ports" concept for controlling and playing many apps running at the same time on the same iOS device. Check my most recent videos and then you will see. :)
