I find it amusing that almost everyone who claims to hate the third book base their comments on "because she killed a lot of the characters". The main plot of the books is war, not love. People die in war. Everyone seems to be forgetting the brilliantly plotted the series was, how real it seemed while we were reading it. It felt like we were there watching all these people die and bombs and frustration. She is an awesome author so please base your comments on other thing that "she killed them!"

I loved it! I didn't get it until the 27, and I just about had an anxiety attack waiting for it. But I was ECSTATIC when I found out who Katniss ended up with. But I'm not gonna tell! Heeheehee!
Of course the movie will suck. Almost every movie based on a book series has sucked and ruined the vision of how people didn't read the book and saw the movie towards people who did both.
Personally Mockingjay was not really as good as the first book...and a major flaw to this series are the characters...we don't have descriptions of all of them.
At least tell us how each victor won in Catching Fire and stop using every page to tell us that Katniss and Peeta love eachother

there's only one problem, District 12 doesn't exist any more and the revolution has began, so yeah, even if the revolution fails, Prim will be dead. So there's no way Prim gets chosen for The Hunger Games.

I can't wait for August 24th!!!! I am obsessed with these books! On vacation 2 weeks ago when I got the first 2 books I couldn't put them down. I took them out to dinner with me, read them in the car, and whenever we went to the beach I read them instead of going in the water! Suzanne Collins is a brilliant author and The Hunger Games books are the best books I have ever read. They are a billion times better than Twilight and every other book I've read combined!
@Jeweldream they are probably still doing the movie but might not have a huge budget which would be a reason for not hearing about it much. they can't really advertise it if they can't afford it. Rumor is that they are still working on the screenplay for it though.

My dream scenerio was for Haymitch to stop drinking, and for
Peeta to remember how much he truly loves Katniss, not,

overall, the triology was fantabulous, but the ending lefted me speechless, as well as the epilouge.

I cried when I read Mockingjay, it was so sad, so many people died.

I loved it! I didn't get it until the 27, and I just about had an anxiety attack waiting for it. But I was ECSTATIC when I found out who Katniss ended up with. But I'm not gonna tell! Heeheehee!

Of course the movie will suck. Almost every movie based on a book series has sucked and ruined the vision of how people didn't read the book and saw the movie towards people who did both.

Personally Mockingjay was not really as good as the first book...and a major flaw to this series are the characters...we don't have descriptions of all of them.
At least tell us how each victor won in Catching Fire and stop using every page to tell us that Katniss and Peeta love eachother

I loved the series but was soooo disapointed with mockingjay!!! They basically killed Peeta, and killed waaaaay to many people! :( Poor Prim & Finick! I was sooo mad when they left I wanted to throw the book at the wall!

@CamilaCantThink That's what makes it a realistic book. The whole concept of the series is war. When there's war, people die.
And you're write it's upsetting how she killed off so many people, like the numbers kept on going up. But to be honest, it's realistic qualities makes me appreciate it. Because after all those hardships, those who survived lead a life with no Hunger Games, it was a step to freedom.

there's only one problem, District 12 doesn't exist any more and the revolution has began, so yeah, even if the revolution fails, Prim will be dead. So there's no way Prim gets chosen for The Hunger Games.

I can't wait for August 24th!!!! I am obsessed with these books! On vacation 2 weeks ago when I got the first 2 books I couldn't put them down. I took them out to dinner with me, read them in the car, and whenever we went to the beach I read them instead of going in the water! Suzanne Collins is a brilliant author and The Hunger Games books are the best books I have ever read. They are a billion times better than Twilight and every other book I've read combined!

@Jeweldream they are probably still doing the movie but might not have a huge budget which would be a reason for not hearing about it much. they can't really advertise it if they can't afford it. Rumor is that they are still working on the screenplay for it though.

I can't wait for the last book! It is going to be great, but what about the movie they are suppose to make, What happened? 2011 is already around the corner and yet I have not heard of any movie cast or even seen the real official trailer. Scratch that, I have not even heard any more news about it! It is driving me insane! Does anybody know what is going on? Did they decide not to do the movie because it is starting to seem like that to me. I would like to know, thanks to whoever replies
