when i was trying to remove the screw on the right hand side there was a lue layer on top so i took that off when itried taking the screw out it wouldnt come out because it broke, what should i do?
one question u no on blackberry curve 8520 , how to i remove A customised ringtone that i put on there and replace it with just the general ringtone for everyone back to normal?
My blackberry is so broken that the screen bit is missing, the white square buttons fell off and the top part of it is broken too... :S I won't have to do a lot to disassemble mine!
Thank you very much for posting this. I used it as a guideline for taking apart my 8530. However, I needed to go a step further and remove the speakers because there was metal shavings and such built up in there, making my them pretty much useless. Took me 3.5 hours from taking off my Otterbox case, to getting it all back together and turned on. Sounds brand new now :)
Hi,thanks for this but i have a diffrent problem. When i take my battery out my blackberry it reboots oviesly but when it reaches the end it just stays still like its frozen. please help i canot use my blackberry now and i have took my betery out a couple of times and the same thing hapens. please help, thank you.
Hi, I only want to change the middle plate on my blackberry curve 8520 but i dont want to take out the charger socket, the headphone jack, etc; does this mean i have to buy the middle plate with all the metal and components already inside?
this video has actually put me off from buying the product. Seriously, fuck taking my phone apart in layers just to make it look tacky when its never gunna look more than a shitty blackerry anyway
When I tried removing the front cover bit that you did first its all stuck to the LCD screen so I panicked and stuck it back on and now its a right mess. Are some stuck and some not or is mine just weird? ORRR am I doing it wrong?
@RsRugbyMike that's a sticker they put on the screw so they know if you've tried to take it apart yourself, just put the screwdriver in it to rip it off, there's a screw under it
HEELLLLP!!! Ive managed to get the screen off at the star and that, but when it comes to actually taking the faceplate off, i can only get the sides to pop up, the top where the speaker is and the bottom where my orange network symbol is wont budge at all and is stuck! its really frustrating CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASEEEE! :(
OMG He is killing the poor innocent little BB :O That man needs to be put in jail! My mom couverd my eyes when i was watching this! it was like watching saw 3d!
Make sure you actually get your prise toolunder the face plate. I got mine between the face plate and the celophane protective cover and mmessed up the face plate
take out your battery and look beneath it for a small metal plate with a white dot on it (this is a screw covered with white tape) use a T-5 screwdriver to tighten this screw a bit (not too tight) this will fix non-functioning trackpads.
The problem I encountered was with the lens cover. the thing is glued on throughout the back surface, so in order to remove it, you have to scratch the hell out of it.
I have a question... the main lcd screen seems to be stuck in a metal-like cage so, how can I take it away? I need to do that to make the right choice to buy a brand new one!
i replaced the lens on my blackberry but im not sure if i took too much out?? is the lens very thin when you take it off or does it have 2 layers to it?
