Changing the phrase "Lamb of God" to "Bread of Life", "Prince of Peace"...etc, it litugical abuse. You have no authority to change what is in the Roman Missal. In 2006 the Vatican released a letter about changing the words in the Missal. They said the ONLY aclamation to be used is "Lamb of God". Please do not change what is standardized thoughout the unviersal church. The Lord would not be pleased.
"The Lord would not be pleased" - you're kidding right? The meaning hasn't changed! The Lamb of God is the Bread of Life as he is also the Prince of Peace, it's not like he has taken it completely out of context and is singing "He ate the Lamb of God". Ppl change renditions of songs all the time & as in this case & the subtext remains. I don't have a problem with it, what I do have a problem with, is the "holier than thou" attitude! pfft!
I love The Holy Lamb of God!
