in order for the new subway fleets to be on the 7 line, that would mean that some of the R62s would have to retire and i got news for u. those subway cars aint going no where anytime soon. they havent been on the subway line long enough. the 7 subway cars are very up to date so im sure there gona stay for years to come

Speaking of the (7)they are converting to CBTC and will be getting R142S cars soon so they will look like the 2,4,5 and 6 trains as far as car fleets are

concerned.

Yes there is.3or4 months ago the 7 had a weekend service change which had shuttle buses running on almost the entire line and they said that the old

signal system is getting replaced with CBTC.
