You missed some of the best sitcoms of the past (though granted some of them were never given a chance in the US; I was lucky to stumble upon them):

Black Adder (best thing the majority of the US never heard of; worth checking out just to see Hugh Laurie when he was a comedian), Faulty Towers (John Cleese stars; he played the alien in Dick and The Other Guy on this show), and the best sitcom we've ever produced: Seinfeld! ^.^ (pure pwnage)

Well, the one when he's prancing through the feilds is either Spring or Summer from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. nut there are a few others in the sequence as well. I hope this is the one you want. :)
