Washer fans spend more time defending Washer than they do telling others that Jesus paid the price for them... so they don't need to grovel like dogs or lie around like dead stones. Gee Paul, you're so much holier than others because... why?... you 'cry out' more often, louder, trembling?
Why would a believer want to cry out to God saying he's a dead stone, a rotten log, this is the complete antithesis of faith. It's saying thanks, Jesus, for dying once for all, bearing the sins of the entire world, but if it's all the same to You I'm still going to consider myself worthless and of no value in a bogus display of FALSE humility. But I guess Washer makes people feel humble, or worthless. Thanks, but I'll go with Colossians 3:12
Wow... the speaker keeps referring to what Washer "always says" but is not found in this quote. I believe I've listened to a great deal of of his sermons. And the points he is making? Washer has agreed with completely, and has in fact preached on these very same things. This sounds more like someone who has a bone to pick with Washer and has too much pride to take it back, so he is on the hunt... Shame.
Does not the psalmist say "Oh TASTE and SEE that the LORD is GOOD." Paul Washer is talking about the experiential nature of true Christianity. Critics would do well to remember the Calvinistic Methodist Church Father's and the Puritan divines before them taught the same truth as Paul Washer. This is experience within the paradigm of Scripture. We need experiential knowledge of Christ. We need His love to be shed abroad in our hearts. The joy unspeakable full of glory!
Brother Andrew, how can you miss the point of what he is saying so horrendously? It's like you aren't even trying to understand what he says... you are taking quotes he says and pulling them out of context.
You totally reading into what Paul says that he is not saying. He is so right on that you cant see the trees for the forest. He is aying to seek God on your knees in humility and awe of our God thats all.
WOW!!!! WHAT FOOLISHNESS FROM THE MAKERS OF THIS VIDEO!!! Total twisting of Paul Washer's Preaching. If you don't have that spiritual love for God then stop complaining about IT and ask to be taught how to love. Not just by truth alone but with spirit as well shall we worship God. John4:23\ And what is wisdom or knowledge or correct thinking if you don't have love.1Cor13:2\ Love is a passion, a never ending motivation from the soul. What will God say to your knowing when He knows all? IT"S LOVE
You should listen to his message, because if you had the eyes opened and wisdom that he was talking about. You wouldn't have misinterpreted what he said.
He is not talking about things that you guys are saying...I think you are getting all wrong! You need no props...I believe he is talking about people who want the hype but not the lifestyle.as a Christain..be careful what you say about Gods' annointing. I don't mean he means those literally..he is refering to us seeking God's faith..he does not trash the bible. There is a difference between just studying the Bible and living it.
im also sceptic with washers views of faith. It sounds so rashly and not sober..
i mean thats not what the bible teaches at all, but i wouldnt say hes a false teacher. And on the other side, this video and what you guys are doing here is same unbiblical. You want to expose a brother to ridicule on a wicked platform??
Matthew 18, 15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone:
1 Peter 4, 7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
1 Cor 4, 5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
paul washer believes and teaches the bible....what he's talking about is....is this....that if you can catch at least the glory of God, then you can become on fire for him. and by on fire for him I mean a close walk with him....which is a conversation here is an example of what he's talking about when he says that pray that this and that in the bible is not true. 1 john-commandments of God not grieveous. me- well in theirself they are not but what about all the persection so in a way yes. see?
Yaw need to whatch who yaw talk about. Cause yaw sounds like haters. And that's scary for your salvation. Yaw really need to practice love and charity
Paul Washer is the last person to warn anyone against putting the cart before the horse. That's exactly what the Calvinists do when they preach on regeneration. Remember? Man is utterly depraved and completely dead (like a corpse) in his sins and must first be regenerated by a sovereign act of God before the gift of faith is given to him (after regeneration). For them faith is not a condition for salvation but the result of one's regeneration.
@Domodeath Listen to what you're saying. Do you believe that a book can save you? The gospel tells us how to be saved, and teaches us about sin. Faith in Jesus is what saves. Being born-again leads to faith first that produces TRUE REPENTANCE and OBEDIENCE and FRUIT. The problem is many christians know The Bible but they don't know JESUS CHRIST.
everyone should do themselves a favor and never pay any attention to andrew bain at all. arguing with him encourages him, its the fuel to his fire, dissension is the reason his ministry exists.(romans 16:17) tells us to stay away from these type of people "such people are not serving the Lord but their own appetite.he has been doing this for a long time and he has been warned many times.he is not gonna repent for his ministry.may God help him.just pray for andrew theirs nothing more we can do
In my every day walk with the lord I want to see jesus clearer every day, in the old testament the prophets seen the promises afar off. We come into the promise in christ, we can read the word but its god who gives the revelation, only by revelation does the word become real. Reveal by the holy spirit.
He is not saying we need to visually see, what he is saying a revelation, to see the cross clearer, a touch from god, that fire can go out in our lives he saying a touch from god seeing god for who he is holy, that's when the fire falls.
Whatever happened to "Blessed are those who do not see and yet believe?" And as for props and histrionics (the insipid quavering in his voice) speaks against him, and St. Paul who abandoned any thought of showy pretense in favor of presenting the simple Gospel, without any human displays of brilliant oratory. Judging by Paul's Epistles, he certainly was capable but opted out so that Faith would be put where it belongs.
God Bless Paul Washer, you just dislike the realities of the Bible of which he speaks of! He's never discredits the scriptures of Truth! He saying to seek Jesus first, to hit your knees and pray for a revelation and an awakening if your spiritually dead! What's more powerful; The King of kings and Lord of Lords Jesus himself, who hung on the tree for our sins, or the Holy Bible, the Living word of God that came from him and proclaims his truth? The Bible isn't salvation, Jesus the Christ is!

i didn't listen to the rest after a couple minutes. I hear i little bit of the feedback about oh what the bible isn't a prop...ok, that isn't what he is saying and as i said before i don't know what you are going to say next, i don't want to watch the rest, but Washer is just saying that we can't try to make false fire for ourselves. I have firsthand experience in that. I tried to make myself believe by making false fire for myself. WE NEED GOD to give us true saving faith and repentance
Why is it everytime I listen to Paul Washer I feel like I'm being lectured like a 12 year old who's guilty until proven innocent? I mean really, stop being so dramatic
@mikebeange Man, you've hit it. Only just heard about this guy. Watched a little bit here and there, and slouched away in fear and repulsion. That's the barometer I go with. If it makes you fearful and questioning you've now slid back under the law and impeded the work of Jesus to make you perfect. The man who fears is not made perfect in love. Perfect Love drives out fear.
@gore53 Remember these passages from the scriptures: Proverbs 1:7-"The Fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom." Luke 12:5- But I will show you whom to fear: Fear him who, after killing the body, has the power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him." People despise Washer because he preaches REPENTANCE.
Wow, how original, a man that God has placed in a box to control his spewage. Try to put God in a box and see what happens. He'll put you in a box and call it a church.
PART 2- Here are some scripture that should humble all those that negate that experience goes hand in hand with true biblical truth and knowledge of God.
1 Corinthians 2:5- "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God".
1 Corinthians 4:19-20 "But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power".
You Best be careful AndrewcBain saying that experience is nonsense. Experience goes hand in hand with faith and knowledge of truth because the more you know God through the scriptures the more his Spirit will give witness on this growing in the knowledge of God. The more i studied the word of God and theology and the more i prayed in intimacy with God the more jesus' presence became real to me and my faith increased not through the wisdom of men but through the power of God.....CONTINUED ABOVE
OH, SweetHeart. I think you missed the point. Paul said to pray to God to open your eyes. To pray when you need your faith to be built not go jump around at a convention. Go to God not men. He means those who don't believe in the supernatural power of God. He's talking about asking God to become "real" to you. People can quote the Bible back and forth and still not really understand of how HOLY God is and what Jesus really did for them. God can give that and so much more. (I can testify to that)
Andrew, you missed the whole point of what Paul Washer meant. He OBVIOUSLY isnt talk about a literal vision. He's talking about having our eyes opened by the Holy Spirit to see the truth of the gospel. Dude, seriously, get a life and stop attack Gods servants like some disciple of Satan.
You commentary at the end does not address anything which Paul Washer said! Your three people onto one is cowardly and you come up with nothing to discount him. To you it's foolishness but one day you will recant. Hope you get saved like Paul Washer!
The Spirit of God is alive and He is not bound to the letter. You need living water flowing from your belly and until that happens you don't know Him. The letter will back up what you experienced. I think it was Jesus who said that if you believe Water will come from your belly. Not Washer.
This guy is the calvinist version of a Benny Henn. Supernatural this and that, and lets depend on the unexplained for faith. Real faith does not come from visions but wisdom and understanding of God's word. We are third party observers to a text writen some 2000 years ago, and to understand takes acdemics.
Religious faith has always been taken too far by men who do not understand a totallity of scripture.I believe the people who have that understanding he calls "tight-spirited theologians".
@kylecfrazier You along with Andrew missed the whole point of what Paul Washer said. He OBVIOUSLY isnt talk about a literal vision. He's talking about having our eyes opened by the Holy Spirit to see the truth of the gospel.
17The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.[a] 18But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.
Anybody who would trash what Paul Washer preaches is at the cusp of apostasy. Not because he is some holy being, but because what he preaches is naked truth. Is the maker of this video saying that it's impossible to have a real physical moment with God? Oh ye of little faith! It is the manner in which Muslims have come to Christ in places where it would have been impossible otherwise- the apostle Paul was converted by a vision of Christ. Are we to mock him and his writings?!
Works and faith are hand in hand! James 2, even ephians 2 10. A true christian will produse good works...... Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
@yisraeldoctor I believe that if a person preaching even if they are good if you don't feel the witness of the Holy Spirit (the source of the fruit or the fruit) you shouldn't listen to somebody else. I truly believe that.
@Kimbrock85 if a person preaching the fruit or the truth and you feel the spirit that is real then you should not follow other people tho you could listen to them and match or compare what you call truth long side what they call truth use your discretion and if any body preach and you dont feel the fruit or truth then you should listen to some body else who have the truth sense the truth and the truth alone will set you free
@Kimbrock85 You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
Js 2 20-22 and it continues. Faith and works go hand in hand
@Friendoflord can you read? first of all i'm not a man Kim Brock??? lol anyway, I don't care if you get mad at my opinion about Paul Washer...but when I hear paul washer teach..although he quotes scripture there is no annointing , no aroma of God..just him doing a hold up with his bible trying to frighten people into getting saved..it's all about Gods wrath and how disgusting he is ..blah blah blah..needs to be a balance
@Kimbrock85 who are teaching "do what you will as long at at the end of the day, you say this prayer, Hebrew 10 26 and 27 says quite the contrary. Jesus came to save man from damnation and to restore a relationship between man and God, that should be the salvation preachers primary focus, sin, repentance, salvion relationship. no where in scripture is it watered down, neither should we
@Kimbrock85 it was the bibes wording not mine. I would encourage you to read 1st jn 2 3 and 4, 1st john 3 4 and 5, and the book of james. No works do not bring about salvation, rather salvation brings about works. Read what Jesus says about it "I will know them by thier works" souls are being lost to false Jesus every day by teachers like rick warren, Joel Olseen and the likes.
The Apostle Paul would agree with Paul Washer's portion of this. As I recall, the Apostle Paul's entire Christian life and ministry was in "obedience to a heavenly vision..." AndrewcBain, I will make no comment on your portion of this upload, from 2:14 onward, (it speaks for itself.) However, I do sincerely thank you for uploading the first 2 minutes and 14 seconds. Well said, Paul Washer! "One glimpse of Jesus, and you'll need not props." Amen to that. Let's all agree in that prayer together..
@JonathanPennington I'm pretty sure St. Paul's vision and Paul Washer's vision were not exactly the same. In fact St. Paul didn't make a big deal about it. Despite having been taken up into the 3rd Heaven, he refers to himself regarding the trip in the 3rd person: "I know a man, who having..." Then the Lord gave him a thorn in the flesh, so as not to get boastful about it. These guys, and their ongoing visions, never let you forget about it. Find God in His Word. He hasn't gone anywhere.
What a pathetic attempt to degrade a man of God. Taking things literally is not the way to win souls to Christ, and if that is not what you are attempting to do, then you are not in accordance of the holy spirit. May God have mercy on you.
You guys are taking what he says out of context. I'm no defender of any man, yet it is pretty obvious that you really are not reviewing his words within the context in which he is saying it. also, you mentioned things he supposedly said that he didn't say in the clips you played. You guys need to be intellectually honest. You are not in this video.
Paul Washer is a man of God. If you hear other sermons of him and know the state of many churches, you know that he is right. He says we should not push our own religous feelings with different methods but seek a real knowledge of God.
Andrew...you have no discernment of anything it seems. Stop trying to discredit these faithful saints of God, and take these videos down from YT. Repent and believe in the gospel.
Jesus has told us, "By the fruits you shall know them" What Paul Washer here means if you read between the two yellow lines is this, if your life is like the unbelievers and you think your a Christian, then you are deceiving yourself and should wake up. I see nothing wrong in his comment at all. I believe Paul Washer has good intention, not that I have seen or heard everything he have said, but it is true only God can make you on fire for God, no one else.
It is very possible to know the Bible word for word, do outreach and convert thousands to the faith and still be lost completely. What we need is a relationship with Jesus, a Saving Relationship with Jesus. Simple saying that your a Christian is not enough either. It is about people, it is about loving your enemies, not to attack anyone or judge anyone because you disagree with them, love them and let your lives be a testimony of God's love.
Paul Washer is saying that you do not need help but from the Bible. You don't need help from the world nor from pastors who speak about getting alot of money. With Jesus you have all you need, you do not need anything else. Do not let the Bible become your God, it is the way to know God only. Let God be God.
Paul Washer here is telling people to pray for the Holy Spirit, is there something wrong with that?
Also, what people seem to think is a works based salvation preached by Washer is infact a person looking at their lives for a work of the Holy Spirit. For anyone in Christ is a new creature.
So therefore, its not our works we look at but the Holy Spirit's in our lives. I do agree that a person could be mislead by that if they have been trying to win their salvation. Praise God.
Why are we all not asking to be the best God has had the best servant to glorify him. He said ask anything ask God to take away everything that is in the way of his will. Pray that he will use you only for his will that you enjoy nothing but doing his will. That you will place the banner on the mountain declaring the name of Christ to the entire world. Sometimes it takes something like a vision to get us running!
The less you like Paul Washer, you either love or you dont
Well said Paul....There is nothing wrong to cry out to God for a vision from God. I did not pray for one but what changed me was the first time seeking the Bible I had a vision of Christ that was so real and it changed me forever. My whole focus is preaching the Gospel and following it. I didn't begin with no church just with the bible. Christ tells us to pray for anything so that our joy might be full whats wrong with a vision? Paul washer is powerful servant of the Lord, listen to Him.
When I was young, I said to God, "God, tell me the mystery of the universe." But God answered, "That knowledge is for me alone." So I said,"God, tell me the mystery of the peanut." Then God said, "Well, George, that's more nearly your size."
These guys don't know what Paul is really saying. I pray that God will reveal Himself to me, but I don't expect to see a vision of Christ! Just to open my mind and heat to Him as I pray...
I really dislike Paul Washer... his lecture on what it takes to be "saved" is nonsense... we are not saved because of the things we do, we are saved because God saves us (if He does at all!)
What Paul Washer is doing when he says "visions" and such is not saying that we must see literal visions. He is using this type of highly charged language simply to say that we should be serious about Christ. We should get a "glimpse" of Christ [in the scriptures]. We should be serious about this Christianity thing. That's all that Washer is doing. To say he wants us to literally see visions is just absurd. You're just looking for something to argue about.
Amen Brother i agree ,thank you for defending God's Servant, these men only want to argue and try to understand spiritual things in the flesh, they are way off base and have no idea that they are setting themselves up against God's Word,Indeed, those who are under the control of human nature cannot please God.(Romans 8:8) We all need Christ we must Surrender to Him Daily and Seek Him Daily and we must confess our sins everyday to Him for he knows our Hearts, thank you Lord for brother paul washer!
Defy Johns Calvinism. Come to Jesus and be saved.
Jesus is calling you now
All men are welcome Jesus died for whosoever believes [that means you] will not perish but have eternal life.
Come confess your a sinner to Jesus repent ask Him to forgive you and come into your heart as your Lord and Savior.. He reads hearts.. He knows a true heart and you will be saved
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
As I understand PW, he is simply concerned that professing Christians are examining and testing themselves to see if they are in the faith.
I'm sure you agree that scripture tells us to do just that.
As far as comparing to unbelievers, it is a reasonable way to gauge whether or not we are still conformed to the ways of this world, or if we have been transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Now, let's stop Bible thumping each other, pray without dissension, and start winning souls to Christ.
1. Visions still do exist, Paul had them, Peter had them, way after Jesus' death.
2. he didnt preach once on not relying on scripture, watch his other sermons, most of them are on relying on the Gospels truth.
He's just trying to say stp relying on emotion and charisma, just rely on the grace of God to reveal himself, his will, and how much youve truly been forgiven.
AndrewcBain, Of all the many SOLID teachers you so poorly try to take apart and demean Dr.White is one of the most accessible people around. Why don't you act like a real man (as Paul exhorts Timothy to do in confronting false teachers), get out from behind your keyboard and call him. You can debate him in his chat channel or on the "The Dividing Line" Tuesday mornings at 11:00am MST and Thursday afternoons at 4:00 MST. Call during the broadcast at: 1-877-753-3341
WOW, Paul w, was speaking to believers not unbelievers and so he was preaching of a stronger and higher faith that you don't need a church that has all these gimmicks to get people amped up, You just need your eyes opened to God's word. He was not saying you need a holy vision to be saved, but with strong faith you do get revelations to God's word. these guys talking are twisting his words and falsly acusing him. Thats just sad.
Andrew, it saddens me to so someone who calls them self a Christian criticize so many biblical teachers. The claims you make about these men are ridiculous, unbiblical, and lies.
The only thing i like about your videos is that you post portions of these awesome sermons. When you put clips of these men's sermons in your videos it is just about the only truth i've ever heard come from your videos.
Hyper-Calvinism is unscriptural, false doctrine. It tends to flourish in intellectual pride and in neglect of soul winning, and is a symptom of moral guilt. It is Satan's effort to kill concern and compassion for souls.
Sorry for the poor proof-reading in the last comment (should be "clouds" not "cross"). But I just listened to Mr. Washer again, and he defines what he means by "props" . He is not talking about he Bible, but conference hoppers: those who go from one conference to another trying to get a buzz off of God. It seems to me that he is simply saying that you need to seek God on your own instead of relying on these poplular speakers. Sounds reasonable to me, but then I don't have an axe to grind.
You guys seem pretty smart, but do you really believe he was talking about a physically optical vision of Christ parting the cross. I really don't believe that was his intention. It seems to me that he is speaking allegorically, and just earnestly seeking God. Methinks you read too much into this and read everything through a Calvinistic lens.
Thank GOD, Jehova!, that we haven´t fall in the reformed church, THANK JESUS, that there are some brothers weaking up 3 -4 am desiring to pray to God, cause they know the day is busy and a son of God must work HARD! Thank God for us that we desire God's presence in our lifes. This makes me so sad, I can´t believe this people, it really makes me sad, cause I've learned so much from brother Paul's teaching.
I had no problem understanding the spiritual things he was saying, it bore witness in my spirit and burned in my heart, for He is speaking the truth!! Except you have no ears to hear, so spiritual things are foolishness to those who are carnal minded! You may have Bible knowledge but you did not understand any of it. Where is your personal relationship with the LORD JESUS CHRIST? I am sad for you may the Lord open your ears to hear...
The proof you didn't have a glimpse of what Jesus did for you is that you put so much faith in your own intellect. Can you explain to me how you managed to be born again in a human way, Mr.AndrewcBain?? To be "Born again" is supernatural, and you need some supernatural intervention of God to be "Born Again". The sad thing about you & your fellow friends who are sitting there and intellectually trying to put in a box the supernatural work of God of the New Birth. I hope you repent & be born again!
Wow I really hope yall aren't really Christians (guys in video)... if yall are then this is sad of you guys to act childishly and twist words and take things literally like an atheist (who is trying to mock the gospel) would. Yes the bible is the word of God, but asking for visions (which is a gift) or the gift of tongues or anytihng outside of just studying scripture is something we should all seek (and NOT mock).
McBain's favorite device to twist people up is to say "in other words" and then insert his own interpretation devoid of the original context. If he studied his bible the same way he treats these men then he would end up an atheist.
Please Check out the Doctrine of regeneration,it is true, If an individual has truly repented and has put their faith is Jesus Christ, God says, he WILL make them a New Creation, check out (2 Corinthians 5:17). so yes, indeed, if you stand next to unbeliever there WILL BE DEFINATIT DISTINCTIONS IF YOU TRULLY ARE SAVED.
I think that AndrewcBain and Paul Washer are actually in agreement because Washer isn't talking about seeing a guy who looks like Jesus walking on a cloud and radiating light onto your house. When he talks about praying that God will give us a heavenly vision, he means praying that we will receive "goals" or "unusual discernment or foresight" (Merriam-Webster) from God (heavenly).
I believe Paul Washer has spoken a truth to Andrew Mcbain that has scared him so badly because it condemns him. The "props" which Paul is referring to are the crutches of man used to fulfill a worldly need for tradition. What Paul Washer is steering all of us towards is faith in something greater than the physical. John 1:1 tells us it is not the printed word of God that is the Word. It is Jesus Christ. "And The Word Was God" tells me that the Word of God is much more than a printed text.
As for comparing to unbelievers like that false teacher Washer said:
"The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as [his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner."
They say faith alone salvation is 'not thorough;' I'm very thorough with people I go through the salvation plan and I make sure people understand OSAS after they're saved, takes me 10-15 minutes sometimes because of all the scripture I give them so they know I'm not making it up. You never see Paul Washer, Ray Comfort or any of these heretics pointing to a bible. They show them they are sinners and tell them to repent. They go soul damning, and it's 1-2-3 repent after me, and it's sickening.
Maybe you should go through another plan. A plan to understand that you, Paul Washer, Ray Comfort, and the rest of Evangelical Christians are useful idiots in the name of religion. Maybe you need to apply logic on your life and stop orbiting around a false world view. Stop polluting our youth with outdated superstitious bullshit and biblical pseudoscience, using fear of an imaginary god.
So, this apparent athiest (WhereTheyAre) is siding with AndrewcBain about Mr. Washer. This is very telling. You eggheads need to come to the realization that your intellectual gymnastics serve only to impress otheres like yourself, and, perhaps, a few athiests. You will never get the unwashed masses to understand what the heck you are talking about. Sorry to drop the "F-word" on you, but you need to be more like Finney, who connected with the masses..
Don't flatter yourself- I was not calling you an egghead. Re-read my comment and you will see that I was referring to the Calvinist who posted the video. I have never thought of atheists as being particularly intelligent. They bypass reason in favor of old tired clichés, and name-calling. And, FYI, the F-word" refers to Finney, referring to Charles Finney, who masterfully refuted Calvinism in the 19th century, so there is no need for me to aplologize* (not aplologise).
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Paul Washer believeth on his righteousness (Deuteronomy 6:25), and one day someone is going to tell him his righteousness is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6) depart from me, ye who work inquity (Matthew 7:23). He's right about the intellectual problem though, he knows how to be saved, but he rejects the truth. It's ironic that the guy always preaching about the strait gate is going to hell by the distance between his head and heart.
If Washer was saved, he'd understand we don't see God literally.
the commentator needs to listen to the word of God more. You will not do this if God has open your spiritual eyes, your just using your intellectual abilities. pray for spiritual revival!
I gotta say Paul Washer has some good points but he does go off some times on sin.Sinless life doesnt save , but JESUS ALONE saves.Living a life with less sins is a good thing.Cause sin usually causes premature death. But it is not what saves but does give us a better life here on earth.
u guy sure like to find loop holes around the truth because u havent recieved a experience a vision like the apostles and moses but God will give to but please stop biting the saints
these guys that commented on him are conforming christians. He is not saying that the bible is a prop. christians now just read the bible but no power. he is saying that christians now are lukewarm. they are contented living without God's presence in their lives. in our church, people need to attend concerts, conferences and do fund-raising eventsto be excited but after those they come back to their normal lives. We needto have God's power.
these 2 guys' comments never impress me,no impact.
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.
...and yes i KNOW what its like to hear someone demonically influenced...i used to practice paganism and you sir remind me of pagans who satan used to speak against his children and make slanderous and false accusations against them. PLEASE turn to CHRIST, the TRUE CHRIST OF SCRIPTURE(not your 'christ')and stop your lies against GODS children!!!
andrew why dont you go hang out with olsteen and all that bunch and preach people into hell.....in fact i think you cant understand the truth because you have not known the truth yourself....you have followed the ''angel of light'' and i suggest you hear other sermons by washer before you call him a heretic......he is one of the FEW that tells the truth in this day and age.....you and your friend make me very uncomfortable...as if im hearing someone that is demonically influenced...its obvious.
andrew i hope GOD has mercy on your soul and calls you out to save you....you are an instegator and a manipulator of peoples words.....you are angerd by him because he speaks the truth and YOU sir (and i say 'sir' with as little respect for you as i can possibly muster up) are blatantly lying and has never heard any of his sermons OR THE TRUTH.... there is something very demonic about you and i hope GOD shuts your mouth soon...STOP YOUR LIES! it is very obvious that you are satanicaly infuenced!
How watered down your religion is Andrew. You Catholic.
2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
I REBUKE YOU ANDREW BAIN, IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I REBUKE YOU!!
they guys are so stupid! they make me laugh because they are like 50 years old and they're ignorant. Pual washer only speaks the truth, does not the bible say if whatever you ask for, it will be givin. I think jesus is comming really soon, I have had that reavealed to me in a dream.
I mean look, Daniel had visions, Ezekiel, jhon, many of these people in the bible have had visions. So does that make them unfaithful?
Proverbs 17:15...He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
Andrew seems to be of the latter group. Puffed-up and self-righteous in vain glory...
If you truly listen to Paul Washer's entire sermons and still insist on these diatribes against him, I implore you to examine yourself, Andrew, as something appears seriously wrong with your heart...
I've read your article on Paul Washer, and you also said that Ray Comfort was a "damnable heresy". I'm happy to be living in the day where men preach truth. The truth this world is starving from and saving souls from eternal torment. You sound like you care more about being right than saving people.
2 Peter 2:1-3 says "But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber."
Amen to the last four comments. Here's a question. Was Paul Washer talking about the gospel, or was he talking about people who try to get motivation from something other than God? (Acts 2:17) "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" That is truth so have faith in it.
OK you have proven that only Jesus is perfect only He can give us the word of God and be correct 100 percent of the time. I find Paul Washer's preaching very inspirational and has opened my eyes to things I didn't realize I was doing contrary to the word of God. I believe the Holy Spirit is really moving in Paul Washer and I am thankful for preachers like him.
Looks like you are critizing for the sake of it. Look, any watchful Christian will see that the power of the Holy Spirit is not there in the modern and wise church. It is filled with human wisdom and no power. 1 Cor 2:4 - "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power."
Like Gideon Paul Washer is questioning - where is the power of the old - Jud 6:13.
Friend, you are distorting and not understanding anything he has said. Furthermore, why would you criticize messages which only bring growth, repentance, and assurance of salvation if truly understood. You need to study your Bible more before giving your opinion because maybe in a few years you'll understand what Paul Washer is talking about and be embarrassed of what you have said here. Also, friend, and I say this in love, you may not like this because there may be sin that you need to give up
Washer fans spend more time defending Washer than they do telling others that Jesus paid the price for them... so they don't need to grovel like dogs or lie around like dead stones. Gee Paul, you're so much holier than others because... why?... you 'cry out' more often, louder, trembling?
gore53 3 weeks ago in playlist Uploaded videos
Why would a believer want to cry out to God saying he's a dead stone, a rotten log, this is the complete antithesis of faith. It's saying thanks, Jesus, for dying once for all, bearing the sins of the entire world, but if it's all the same to You I'm still going to consider myself worthless and of no value in a bogus display of FALSE humility. But I guess Washer makes people feel humble, or worthless. Thanks, but I'll go with Colossians 3:12
gore53 3 weeks ago in playlist Uploaded videos
Wow... the speaker keeps referring to what Washer "always says" but is not found in this quote. I believe I've listened to a great deal of of his sermons. And the points he is making? Washer has agreed with completely, and has in fact preached on these very same things. This sounds more like someone who has a bone to pick with Washer and has too much pride to take it back, so he is on the hunt... Shame.
TheRealChikezie 1 month ago
Does not the psalmist say "Oh TASTE and SEE that the LORD is GOOD." Paul Washer is talking about the experiential nature of true Christianity. Critics would do well to remember the Calvinistic Methodist Church Father's and the Puritan divines before them taught the same truth as Paul Washer. This is experience within the paradigm of Scripture. We need experiential knowledge of Christ. We need His love to be shed abroad in our hearts. The joy unspeakable full of glory!

If you don't have that spiritual love for God then stop complaining about IT and ask to be taught how to love. Not just by truth alone but with spirit as well shall we worship God.

In my every day walk with the lord I want to see jesus clearer every day, in the old testament the prophets seen the promises afar off. We come into the promise in christ, we can read the word but its god who gives the revelation, only by revelation does the word become real. Reveal by the holy spirit.

@mikebeange Man, you've hit it. Only just heard about this guy. Watched a little bit here and there, and slouched away in fear and repulsion. That's the barometer I go with. Perfect Love drives out fear.

SlaveOfCrist 1 year ago
You Best be careful AndrewcBain saying that experience is nonsense. Experience goes hand in hand with faith and knowledge of truth because the more you know God through the scriptures the more his Spirit will give witness on this growing in the knowledge of God. The more i studied the word of God and theology and the more i prayed in intimacy with God the more jesus' presence became real to me and my faith increased not through the wisdom of men but through the power of God.....CONTINUED ABOVE
SlaveOfCrist 1 year ago
OH, SweetHeart. I think you missed the point. Paul said to pray to God to open your eyes. To pray when you need your faith to be built not go jump around at a convention. Go to God not men. He means those who don't believe in the supernatural power of God. He's talking about asking God to become "real" to you. People can quote the Bible back and forth and still not really understand of how HOLY God is and what Jesus really did for them. God can give that and so much more. (I can testify to that)
YamiKazeSora 1 year ago
Andrew, you missed the whole point of what Paul Washer meant. He OBVIOUSLY isnt talk about a literal vision. He's talking about having our eyes opened by the Holy Spirit to see the truth of the gospel. Dude, seriously, get a life and stop attack Gods servants like some disciple of Satan.

Paul Washer, unlike you AndrewcBain, is a Christian and a Christian who has actually seen God and come into His presence.
Bogzy1989 3 years ago

May God raise up more men like Paul Washer,
I had no problem understanding the spiritual things he was saying, it bore witness in my spirit and burned in my heart, for He is speaking the truth!!

Lion3Lamb 3 years ago

See which one is justified (Luke 18:14).

They go soul damning, and it's 1-2-3 repent after me, and it's sickening.
awguenin 3 years ago
" I go through the salvation plan "
Maybe you should go through another plan. A plan to understand that you, Paul Washer, Ray Comfort, and the rest of Evangelical Christians are useful idiots in the name of religion. Maybe you need to apply logic on your life and stop orbiting around a false world view. Stop polluting our youth with outdated superstitious bullshit and biblical pseudoscience, using fear of an imaginary god.
This is the only plan you need.
"it's sickening"
I know.

Hello, this is the apparent Atheist* (not athiest) WhereTheyAre.
I like to talk using arguments, and i need others to do so when they address me. You failed to construct one single argument against "us eggheads"
So you FUCKING retards, need to come to the realization that your arguments are invalid, or non-existent.
The mass, is you.
Next time you apologise for using the FUCK word, make sure you actually did.

I gotta say Paul Washer has some good points but he does go off some times on sin.Sinless life doesnt save , but JESUS ALONE saves.Living a life with less sins is a good thing.Cause sin usually causes premature death. But it is not what saves but does give us a better life here on earth.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

I've read your article on Paul Washer, and you also said that Ray Comfort was a "damnable heresy". I'm happy to be living in the day where men preach truth.

You really need to look at your Bible again...
You have twisted Brother Washer's words and put even more words and beliefs in his mouth!
When he is speaking of showing him things you've seen and touched...he's not talking about weeping or bleeding statues...
He's talking about DIVINE MIRACLES and WORKS done for the GLORY OF GOD!
clworship 3 years ago
and before you accuse me of preaching Lordship (Works) Salvation...don't forget that Paul is speaking to "supposed" Christians here...
The Bible makes it VERY CLEAR that we are NOT equally yoked with unbelievers...
We are to be IN this world, not OF this world(not acting the same way as unbelievers...we are separate)...
James says faith without works is dead! James, too, is speaking to Christians!
Works are an EVIDENCE of salvation...they do not cause it.
clworship 3 years ago
Amen to the last four comments. Here's a question. Was Paul Washer talking about the gospel, or was he talking about people who try to get motivation from something other than God? (Acts 2:17) "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" That is truth so have faith in it.
natkra90 3 years ago
OK you have proven that only Jesus is perfect only He can give us the word of God and be correct 100 percent of the time. I find Paul Washer's preaching very inspirational and has opened my eyes to things I didn't realize I was doing contrary to the word of God. I believe the Holy Spirit is really moving in Paul Washer and I am thankful for preachers like him.
nibblebaby 3 years ago 3
Looks like you are critizing for the sake of it. Look, any watchful Christian will see that the power of the Holy Spirit is not there in the modern and wise church. It is filled with human wisdom and no power. 1 Cor 2:4 - "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power."
Like Gideon Paul Washer is questioning - where is the power of the old - Jud 6:13.
juine23 3 years ago 5
Paul Washer is a huge man of God... finally. His criticism shouldn't be from Christians- real ones, that is!
