    I had Braces because i wanna have good teeth.

    but after 8months ago i had 5 tooth decay

    What should I do?

    i'm just worry because i don't want to remove my teeth.

  • @girlzone07 just brush ur teeths with gud toothpaste like oral -b or coldgate and stuff 2/3 times a day

  • Brush teeth BEFORE breakfast and in the evening AFTER eating. Leave at least 30 mins in between, because all the food causes acid attack on your teeth and if you brush your teeth right after eating you will cause more damage by wearing out the tooth surface when the acid is still there. And it doesn't matter how much sugar do you eat, the amount of times you eat it (or anything else) matters! Your teeth can take only 5-6 acid attacks per day and all the food counts, even a sip of coke!

  • So, basically you can eat breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and snack and no more. All the drinks except water causes an acid attack as well, so if you eat 5 times a day and drink coffee or lemonade or whatever other times, it increases the amount of the acid attacks.

  • Over 80% of cavities occur inside pits and fissures where food is left trapped after eating and brushing cannot reach.

    Chewing fresh veg like celery after eating forces saliva into trapped food to neutralise acid and remineralise demineralised tooth.

  • If there are a feww black lines on your teeth, is it a decay? If so, how can it be stopped from decaying further?

  • black lines could also be stains. Look at the answer below for stopping decaying going further.

  • if a tooth is decaying, can it be stopped before it decays any further. and if so then i wouldnt need a filling?

  • Decaying could be stopped by fluoride if the decay is small enough. Get fluoride tablets and brush your teeth with a fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day. Also, reduce the amounts of acid attacks to 5-6 (above about the acid attacks).
