Blackmore´s Night took money for the cancelled concert in Svihov castle.
Two weeks the promoter tried to contact BN to agree on compensation of the concert to their fans. Using the tickets from Svihov for the next concert was suggested. BN manager didn´t respond to e-mails and ignored phone calls although the full payment for the concert had been on BN bank account and all advance invoices of the providers´ had been paid.

No wonder he always had challenges handling traditional hard-rockers in his bands over the years. His idea of music and success over the decades has changed, and it's OK. If you want a contrast, listen to "Child In Time"--you won't believe it's the same guitarist, but honestly the tunes themselves are related.

I also (and finally) would like to insist that music does not need to make one's ears bleed in order to be kick ass. Someone playing an instrument with incredible talent, technique and emotion better than anyone else is way more loud than some fool just cranking up the volume!!! Lyrics that actually say something, instruments that speak eloquently and tell epics all by themselves , amazing voices and cool clothes. It is not Robin Hood. It is their path. He has stated this hundreds of times!! And life and relationships are way more than sex. He has said that when he and Candy first met the the resonated on so many levels that it was uncanny. They have dozens of things in common including their spirituality and music ; two of the most important things in one's life.

I also (and finally) would like to insist that music does not need to make one's ears bleed in order to be kick ass. Someone playing an instrument with incredible talent, technique and emotion better than anyone else is way more loud than some fool just cranking up the volume!!! Lyrics that actually say something, instruments that speak eloquently and tell epics all by themselves , amazing voices and cool clothes. It is not Robin Hood. It is their path. They honor the path you choose to walk.

I strongly recommend that people get their hands on "Black Knight" and other biographies of Blackmore and read his own comments on his own website before making immature, petty, and degrading comments. Blackmore's entire personality has made a 180 degree turn for the better since meeting Candy and expressing himself musically as he really desires.

He has stated this hundreds of times!! And life and relationships are way more than sex. He has said that when he and Candy first met the the resonated on so many levels that it was uncanny. They have dozens of things in common including their spirituality and music ; two of the most important things in one's life.
