  • this car looks a mess

  • @paulhunter123 it's been improved since then - take a look at my other videos and you should see :-)

  • I know you guys might not like this but I'm doing a v6 3.1 swap into my 82 924 n/a, but i would like some feed back, what year is a good year to do a swap from? still looking around cuz i heard somewhere of a 3.4 that has 210hp and 215tq.

  • @qarfreak5000 The 60 degree engine is actually a fantastic engine! My brothers business is experts at installing the 60 degree's in many British. Visit his website at bmcautos .com - anyhow, depending on the amount of money you have I would recommend the 3.4 liter, but any which way you are most likely going to have to use the RWD version of the engine. Again visit bmcautos .com for more info...

  • @qarfreak5000 i compared times with my 3.8 impala to my 84 944, the 944 is 3 seconds faster with 50less hp. just sayin

  • Good you got rid of the slow van engine that it had before lol

  • @patrickpl94 yeah not quite slow any more...

just remember - that "slow van engine" was also used in United States Post Office trucks for quite some time too lol!

  • @applebit924 Jesus lol

What was Porsche thinking when they built the 924? Lets just put a random engine in it and hope it does well? lol

Still man props for that car, A light car like that + an Ls1 = a shitload of fun :D

  • @patrickpl94 lol - oddly though it was the success for Porsche that brought them into the future!

  • @applebit924 hey, failure later leads to success

  • @applebit924 because it was there mass production model, Have you heared of mass production.

  • Neat build! I have always thought a SR20DET would fit really well in one of these...

  • 1999 Chevy Corvette LS1 engine with 20k miles. Only mods are headers and a reverse intake, and a Hitech Motorsport Stage II camshaft. Mid 11 second car :-)

  • hi! why didnt you let the original engine inside and mod it to a 924GTR? but very nice idea and yeah sounds cool =)

  • can't get this kind of reliability and easy power out of a 4 cyl. That and this car is so darn easy to service and get support for now!

  • What engine sits inside this...?
