@ClassifiedMind Ha Ha Ha hahahaha. The day the AKC lets a doodle become a breed is the day I loose faith in humanity. Do you know how much work and years of showing it takes for a dog to become a breed? Doodles are just a trend that will die out. Do you think cock-a-poos and the dozens of other designers will become 'purebreds' to? If I bred my Schnocker to another Schnocker the pups would look the same as the parents. Does that make Schnauzer Cocker mixes a breed?

I got my labradoodle Willa at the local shelter. She's so playful and sweet. Of course she's had to go through a lot of rehabilitation and spooks easily as she was raised by a breeder who, I guess, neglected/abused her. Money should not be a motive when it comes to our dogs. There are plenty of all breeds at shelters and there are just too many pets to be breeding more.
