Sounds like some are choosing D, but the amount of people doing so is probably counteracted by the amount of people who go to Starbucks specifically because of their policy.

They break laws and standard protocol. And what is a ban on guns? A law, a protocol, nothing more. I'm somewhat confused why you never even touched down on the sporting aspect of shooting. I've seen several clubs come and go (Sadly, more going than coming) due to people raising completely invalid arguments about raising danger due to a nearby gun club. I've been shooting for sport for as long as I remember, and never once have I seen someone get as much as grazed, none the less have a gun pointed at them. And to what you said about the news, good for you, all of the news is scare tactics.
Their is one final idea i would like to know your opinion on: if you need gun to defend the country and your home -again to me its the professional's job in public area- why not only allow rifles that unlike handguns can't be hidden and have less criminal potential. I also think tha with a rifle you have no chance to shoot yourself and that the added precision means less colateral damage (for this last reason i'm also critical on full auto).

While we're at it, we should remove all human's limbs at birth so we can't make use of unarmed combat. No, I think everyone should carry a gun or a knife and be responsible for their own safety. Criminals will always find a way to get a gun, even if they are illegal to own. They have no intent on following the law and will do whatever they like with the gun. A person who gets a gun legally, generally won't use it to commit crimes.

Norway use to have higher crime than the U.S. based on stats alone. However, Norway has backed down on how they report and record crimes, and is now one of the safest countries in the world... according to the numbers. *wink wink*

i dont need a gun, for less hassle and debate i can carry a knife. if i need to i can defend myself with my hands or anything i need. i will also not go to starbucks because i can make better coffee myself. my GF also hates starbucks, so i have no need for them on valentines day. its not bad gun or bad person. its a grey zone where a balance needs to be stricken, a rocket launcher wont help people, but a other form of semi destructive or harmful device. there needs to be some control.

In this world there are a lot of crazy ppl and I would rather have a crazy person without a gun!! I'm somewhat confused why you never even touched down on the sporting aspect of shooting. I've seen several clubs come and go (Sadly, more going than coming) due to people raising completely invalid arguments about raising danger due to a nearby gun club. I've been shooting for sport for as long as I remember, and never once have I seen someone get as much as grazed, none the less have a gun pointed at them. And to what you said about the news, good for you, all of the news is scare tactics.

Their is one final idea i would like to know your opinion on: if you need gun to defend the country and your home -again to me its the professional's job in public area- why not only allow rifles that unlike handguns can't be hidden and have less criminal potential. I also think tha with a rifle you have no chance to shoot yourself and that the added precision means less colateral damage (for this last reason i'm also critical on full auto).

Also, typically, bullets out of rifles typically have more velocity than out of handguns. This increases the risk of collateral damage through over-penetration, or punching holes in things.

State wise, there are only a few states that actually limit handgun ownership to those of 21 or older.
PA and other states, for example, one can own a handgun at 18, legally. Just an FYI.
