  • Thats the best spots i have ever seen. I m so jealous xDDDDDDDDD

  • nice

  • Cool!

  • Bravo !

  • So Yann is really into parkour. Are the others or are they just actors?

  • The others in Yamakasi?

They were all part of the Yamakasi group, which was the original group of Parkour practitioners (althout I'm not sure they called it Parkour originally). Yamakasi originally included David Belle and Sebastien Foucan as well. The conventional story states that those nine were a group of childhood friends that developed Parkour together before eventually splitting up to do their own thing with their art that they had honed in their formative years.

  • So they are really practicioners of parkour. Sorry i didnt know that :D

  • they all are - google a video called "yamakasi Generation"

  • 0:21 perfect move

  • Yann is a ledgend =)

  • I saw him live yesterday! :) His a great guy, great showman, great parkourer!

  • he has a lovely character dosn't he =)

  • 0:22 is just wow

  • with all respect you are a yamakasi you still far way from being traceur

  • Wait, what?

    Are you insane?

  • no man I'm not. see what DAVID BELLE said about Le Parkour and don't forget he created that

  • Man, David Belle created parkour with Sebastien Foucan, and they still own the name 50/50, so don't start drawing lines in the sand between Yamakasi and Traceurs. Parkour is a philosophy, but those who train it are no better people than those who train Yamakasi, Freerunning, or anything in between. To claim that David Belle is the be-all and end-all because he "created" parkour when he in fact co-created it with Seb just shows that you can't take any one person's words as gospel.

  • man ..Sebastien Foucan didn't create anything because David Belle took it from his father and you said about Le Parkour is a philosophy which it has a meaning not like the free runing (like skate board )..and remember that every thing in our life that we do it suppose to mean something

  • Man, don't buy into the anti-freerunning hype. David Belle, Seb Foucan and all the Yamakasi trained together in the same way for many years, right up until Luc Besson offered them the starring role in his film Yamakasi.

Yes, Parkour has a philosophy that stemmed from the influences of Raymond Belle, but that philosophy influenced the training methods of ALL the Yamakasi crew for years before the split. Their physical abilities are the same.

  • what you said in the beginning made no sense, and thats where this arguement started.

    yamakasi is a group,

and a traceur is ANYONE. who practices parkour. of any skill level.

  • if it is a name of group why he call himself a professional Yamakasi???

  • idk if your talking about Yann himself, but if he did, it's because he means it is in "I am a yamakasi" as in a member of hte yamakasi. Like if there was a clan or a group called the Sharks or something, a member would say he is a shark. look it up, the yamakasi was a group of the original traceurs and freerunners

  • He said he is a professional Yamakasi like the word Yamakasi means something like the word Traceur not a name of clan or group ..think about it .and they are not the original David Belle is. they trained with him(he was the lead) and they did not create anything David Belle did.and the freerunnig made by sabestien which it took form LE PARKOUR .

  • all of that is 100% correct, but all the word yamakasi translates to is "strong body, strong spirit, strong person" from Lingala.

  • that's right 100% correct

  • the man is epic. thats all.

  • simple.............? ehhh

  • simple yet really good :D

  • WOW!

  • sympa
