  • @alisha007able ....And that justifies WHY majority of Indians do not have access to ANY kind of toilet......lolzz

  • @arjunhiral You're an idiot.

  • One of the best top gear scenes ever.

  • I still like Top Gear and the "good side" of Jeremy Clarkson...that J.C. who`s passionate about cars, etc...

But the more I read about this man the more I realise that he`s absolutely not an example for the people who watch him.

He`s driving in an essentially poor country such as India in a Jaguar (with an indian flag on it!!!), he got tanned and the only productive things he could come up with is this stupid comment.

    Shame on you JC!

More cars and less disgusting comments.

  • why do they never put up the whole episode!???

  • he is overtaking from wrong side every time .

  • I love the music that came out due to all the horns!

  • Bring em to south india people! They are not as bad!

  • I love what Jeremy says, "Your father will be very cross with you IF he gets home." I'm sure this senario happens quite a bit in India. Naughty child waiting for punishment, and it never comes because the parent never does get home.

  • lol if u can drive in india then u can drive anywhere in the world.

  • @drakerocker1994 Absolutely. I'm from India and have travelled there often. The traffic is not forgiving.

  • @drakerocker1994 bullshit, lol. yellow cab drivers cant drive for shit in nyc

  • @drakerocker1994 If you can drive in India....then your NOT qualified to drive anywhere else...or capable of obeying road rules.

  • @drakerocker1994 You mean if you survive driving in india.

  • @MrHanzai100 hahahah

  • nano

  • @ Dethpunk

They say that the cold war is over, but still Africa burns and it bleeds under the legacy left behind by the cold war and "colonization", the whole continent is ravaged by injustice, civil war, diseases and famine. They have guns to kill each other but not bread to feed themselves, and 85 % of arms sold internationally are from G8 countries(ex -japan).

  • @ Dethpunk

Let me make it simple enough for your big fat british brian, so that it can understand how the real world functions . . .

Do you know anything about the "cold war"(1950- late 80's) and its connection with Africa that land which was once the abode of nature, was butchered into pieces during the height of cold war.

  • @ Dethpunk...

How wonderful and nice it would be if only the world functioned in the simplistic way your big fat british brain functions, if 300 years of wrong could be righted on a single day and with a certain aid, WOW !, why are we even still in pursuit of that elusive "Ideal World" ;-).

  • god, there are actually roads more dangerous than in indonesia.. :'D

  • @sprinksj

Would it be right on my part if i come to a conclusion that britain as a society suffers from the malaices of class differences and 'RACISM' on the basis of "London Riots of 2011".

  • @sprinksj

First of all as i said though we have grown into 4 largest economy in the world in a span of 60 odd years, we know that we still have a long way to go and we dont have any illusions about that. But your idea about india as a society predominantly divided by class and caste differences might have been true for the india of 1950, we have come a long way and you people just dont have the eyes to see that . .

  • The reason that India looks like a dumpster is that the majority of the people are dirt-poor peasants. There is a very, very strict caste system where you are born, live and die poor. It doesn't matter if you're a genius or not. The rich upper class will make sure you are not allowed to rise above your "station". As long as this system remains India will always be a backward 3rd world country regardless of size of their economy.

  • @sprinksj U r right my friend. India is poor not because of money but because of its thinking.

  • 33 people are from India

  • India has become the 4th largest economy in the world in a span of 60 odd years, we know that we still have a long way to go we dont have any illusions about that. . . its just that "we dont want a Germ(y) clarkson or a winston churchill to show us a made in britain mirror made out of riches looted from india and former colonies"

  • @ Everyone who think indians are sensitive. . .

We have taken it on our chins for a very long time, When winston churchill remarked that the Bengal Famine was caused by the ability of the people there to breed like rabbits, was he showing us the mirror?, I DONT THINK SO. Bengal Famine was the last famine in india since famines disappeared with the british rule, now india feeds a population thrice that it was during its independence.

  • I didn't realise Indians were so sensitive; Indian roads are bad, it is a fact. Deal with it.

  • @FreedomFighterUK people who drives through these road can become a f1 driver for sure

  • motherfucker britishers, first learn how to drive, don't start saying O.....oh lodr, oh jesus etc bullshit!

  • jesus they look like donkey ass........... thevidiya punda

  • Well top gears take on India and the bellow mentioned winston churchills explication on Bengal famine belongs to that general age old british tradition of finding explanatios of disasters not in 'BAD ADMINISTRATION', but in the culture and habits of the people (here in this case that of indians). Now how is that for a stereotyping :-) :-) :-)

  • More than 65 years back wiston churchill famously remarked that the BENGAL FAMINE of 1943 (which claimed more than 2 million lives) was caused by the ability of the people there to "breed like rabbits", ironically it happened to be the last famine in india, since famines disappeared with british rule.

  • Accoridng to my own personal experience indian roads are much more worst than this

  • learn to drive first......

  • @xrx13695 living with chutyas, chutya driving skils and chutya ministers isnt a thing to be proud of, we shud make it better so that others too respect us, 23 sal pehle jo halat the highway k aj bhi wohi hai, kab tak sahoge?and people r gonna say bec they live in a society in which chutya ministers dont fuck with counrty n cunts like u take it

  • @bharatkumargupta try to take responsibility for ur actions,no minister is coming to teach u how to drive...how the presenters of the show perceived safety on road is a bit far fetched considering every country has its own driving habits defining the kind of behaviour one views as acceptable on road.

  • @xrx13695 100,000 deaths a year? far fetched? did you not see all those people piled into the 3 wheeled golf cart?

  • @xrx13695

    haha good one..

Only we indians understand our driving...

  • The British car overtakes the truck from the left side one occasion! How about that?

  • these guys didn't even touvh the dangerous roads the dangerous one are on spirals to a mountain top and near jungles. PUSSIES!

  • as an indian i really have no problem with this show!!..i found it quite funny..this is the way humour should be!!...by the way some of the snooty english asses are crossing the line with their comments here...we dont really need that!!...

  • i bet they said to richard

oh look, the small man bought a small car

  • @10yroldcarlover we love richard hammond ...not just for top gear but for other shows as well!!

  • @zippie1100 ummmm.... okay

  • Why those idiots are coming to my country, if they don't like it?

Why those Mother..f... Coming to play cash rich IPL?

Why Wall mart wanted to opened their business in India?

Why some of the major brands opened their call centres in India ?

There r so much to learn and earn from

    India , which those motherFu...Rs don't see

  • This is the real India - far cry from what rubbish nonsense paraded on Bollywood as that Bollywood riches represents like 0.000000001% of Indians.

  • Those Indians that are complaining are the sensitive idiots who believe the world never knew before this program of what a messed-up places Indian roads are!

  • I just can't understand people who complaines for the jokes. It's the old same stuff just the Top gear trademark. This time india was the target next time germany or portugal... what's the problem? Maturity of a people is also measured in how they get irony!

  • This in India, if your are so incompetent enough then don't come to my country you talentless fools, you are not welcome to my country.

  • @aashshah fuck u...nobody is asking u for permission, whingeing indi.

  • B- British

  • absolutely true story of Indian High way,is no doubt.thanks u BBC on Indian road.govt should be know now.

  • by the way..james may..u idiot..why r u overtaking a lorry from its left..u r allowed to overtake only from the driver's right side!!.. don't u know that!!????

  • Is this what is irritating India?

I have driven the entire National Highways from Badrinath to Kerala and back - and I have driven in several countries in the world..

Indians should be ashamed that despite our great dreams of roads - there is no doubt that we are one of the worst when it comes to our road sense or the Governments apathy to roads or the collusion between PWDs, Municipalities, Corporations and road contractors !

  • I totally agree with what they have shown in this Show. Thanks a lot BBC for this wonder full

show. The traffic and drivers are much worse than they showed in this Top gear. Hope something changes for good. I am a doctor I have seen so many people get killed each year.

It is very tragic for families to lose their sole bread winners

  • it's not as bad as they show it here..I've driven on roads like that in india..

  • Comment removed

  • Goddamn the roads in India are dangerous and that's coming from someone who lives in Vietnam lol

  • stop complaining and grow up!!! everyone doesnt live in comfort zones.. if u keep looking for pits and walk then u end up in one.. start seeing gud things u end up praising INDIA beyond limits.. every country has its own driving sense... if u r not accostomed to it then stop complaining abt it!!!

  • @unbeatables07 nothing wrong in showing it as it is. Indians are too damn sensitive about someone else exposing their shit. Fact is that there is a lot of shit out there and perhaps shows like this may move the authorities into doing something.

  • @smodass things should be taken care of.. but watchout where u r searching for wht actually... u mine in some shit and ask for gold !!! tht is wht exacly is been shown here..

  • There are numerous awesome highways in India why did they choose this road? To show India in a bad way or what?

  • @Harshamostwanted1 Does not matter what highway they chose. If it is bad then whats wrong in showing it ? You only want to hear good things about India ??? stop living in denial.

  • Just love it to drive in Indian roads at night times!! Lots of adlenarine rush!! Lots of care lots of speed sudden breaks awesome feelings

  • err...James you usually dont overtake a big lorry from the wrong side....ESPECIALLY IN INDIA!

  • The examples and the conditions shown were bad because although they are true they were half baked. Giving half baked information or truth is really immoral and irresponsible .

  • @59somnath Why do u say they are half baked ?

  • looks exciting!!

  • They are driving too fast for the roads, and recording a show while driving...not the safest combination yea?

  • If british hadn't stolen all the money from India, India would have had better roads. So quit complaining

  • @chicagonorthridge u idiot india as lot money then which got stolen the govt is just to much selfish to help its people

  • @Hell5x5x2 Every Government is selfish dude, so chill the fuck down..

  • @chicagonorthridge Actually Indian Govt can be told as Looters of People Money

  • @chicagonorthridge britain is the only reason india has roads in the first place...hell britain is the only reason we have a lot of shit. ever heard of the industrial revolution? and im american and i know this -_-

  • @LamboK28992 u right friend..

  • @chicagonorthridge Whats stopping you from making better roads? And moreover, whats stopping you from following laws now? Lawlessness is in the DNA of Indians.

  • @chicagonorthridge Doesn't explain people driving down the wrong way or any of the other things.

  • @chicagonorthridge The roads in India are actually very expansive and well constructed compared to any other asian country. But people cannot drive for shit in India, and that whats does it.

  • @chicagonorthridge True, but its not like they personally stole the money...plus you would complain to if you almost died like 15 times in one night.

  • @chicagonorthridge if India had infrastructure or military power of any note during the age of exploration you wouldn't have been invaded!

  • @chicagonorthridge Its been nearly 70 years since India gain independence from the British and in that years receive economical aid from the British as a member of the Commonwealth.

The current state of India is due to ineptness of Indian governments at governing for the past 70 years and their interest at funnelling the nation's wealth into their own pockets! The Commonwealth Games fiasco is an example of Indian mismanagement and corruption. So stop blaming the British.

  • @chicagonorthridge 70+ years ago, that's no excuse

  • Y the Heck should they apologize to Indian Government, this is soo Typical of the govt here, They care 2 hoots for the citizens and if people tell them something is wrong, they kill them down. we always like to shoot the messenger don't we?? Wake up, there is a huge message in this...

  • I am an India and I am so proud of my India Government that they had made all good arrangement for the road traveller. If you lose your concentration, you will be killed. Still these BBC people did not drived on Nasik-Pune Highway. If they will do so, they will forget their driving skills. Corrupt Indian Government takes road tax well as tolls from last many years and still you have to go through this hell and this government demands apology from BBB. Very good shows by BBB please continue

  • Guys,I love Top Gear,I love those guys, this is epic! I am an Indian, been round the world;let's face it,Indian roads are way more dangerous than anywhere else.

Way more overcrowded, way more dangerous drivers with no proper training, brains and/or driving skills.I don't get driving the wrong way on a highway just to get to a village or bylane faster to save fuel and time!Ludicrous. It's not that road planning is utterly bad,it's just the mindset. But even for me,1:36 - 1:40 was plain suicidal Hammy!

  • drving in that traffic is a piece of cake! those guys are not experienced enough...any hero can drive in a totally organised traffic but it takes talent to drive in these conditions..

  • @stancyabraham

Actually the problem is that these people are driving too fast for Indian roads. They are used to 100 mph average speed whereas in India it's less than 30

  • whatever its its not that bad .....worst thing u get killed ...on the road.... ...nothing else could happn ......

  • i am glad i am not one of them, atleast culturally...! i don't consider my region as part of india...

  • Go here in the Philippines and you'll see that experience easy. :D

  • James's Rolls Royce is awesome.

  • I loved this episode.

  • Go back to India and do it properly. The 90 mins you put out at Christmas was largely pathetic.

  • if u can relly drive...then u can druve in india,,,,if not,,,u still kiss the bankrupt queens ass

  • this is so awesome I have tears in my eyes

    mann I miss India

thank you Top Gear, you listened to my request and payed a visit to India!!!!!

I can never thank you enough

  • Ultimately, it's a show about roads.

  • Isn't it so exciting to drive in India? Awesome

  • I'm, Jeremy Clarkson, and I pause, mid sentence.

  • I want to see the Google car dodge all of these obstacles.

  • next time they should go to iran in search for a nuclear-powered supercar.

  • @DudefishD lol how sweet, thanks for the welcome... 'randomly responds to the first comment... whore' :)

  • For the next season special they should go to Russia and do a Trans-Siberian trip or race.

  • @5687678

No ! It'll be cooler for them to go to space
