  • so thats what i been doing wrong

  • Remember, knuckles out.

  • If that little cutie dropped her bike if i was there she wouldn't have to lift her bike. Any real man would help. Good thing to know though. You never know if anybody is going to be around to help.

  • This clip just saved my life!!! Not literally perhaps... I'm a shrimp disguised as a woman and I have a Kawasaki W650. I've never been able to lift it until today. It dropped the other way but I used the kickstart and the metal side handles (dno what they're called in English tbh) sticking out behind the seat instead and it worked just fine. Worked my right leg in slowly and when it was pretty much upright I could sit on it.

It feels SO good to know I can do this myself! Yeehaw!!

  • Those crash bars on the side make the lifting a different ballgame altogether. Try the same technique without those bars, with a bike thats flat on the ground.

  • First step..Grow some muscle

  • My bike would be back on his wheels before this damned woman named step 1.

Fyi; there is only 1 step: get it up asap!

  • On the rubber matt it's easy, on the road or hard shoulder where u usually drop the bike diferent story, but well

  • first step.. 'make sure that you still have your legs and arms attached'..

  • @dakaraabbccdd Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha yeah!

  • Just dropped mine at the top of an San Francisco HILL! Tried pulling, WRONG..Wish I had seen this, fortunately two guys drove by and helped and only damage was a small scuff on the engine guard. Well, that's one heavy beast...But I love it...:-)

  • Wha?? Didnt understand, was too busy lookin at that Harley chicks ass

  • @ninskrilla What a bad taste, what an ugly ass...

  • what if the bike falls ON the bike stand?

  • @jooy20 same principle. once you get it upright, you use your foot to kick the stand back on and let the bike lean back down on the stand.

  • @jooy20

    ghehe

  • I tried this and failed :( i weigh 114lbs and my bike is a 92 yamaha fzr. :( I feel a bit discouraged lol

  • Harley's have a lower centre of gravity and are therefore easier to lift, any higher/taller bike with some degree of weight will prove more difficult. So don`t feel too bad about not being able to lift your FZR.

  • You are very welcome. If I give advice, and only one person is helped by it, then its worth giving it. You are very welcome.

  • Yeah, I would throw all amerikan built motorcycles onto their sides, because they are pieces of shit!

  • Thankyou this is very helpful

  • Make sure it's not on an incline or decline? I supposed if you were dropping it on purpose you can decide this. Ya know how some bikes lean a LOT on their side stand... would hate to lift it up and then fall over it backwards as it began to tip towards it's side stand, what would make you look really bad and could be pretty dangerouse!

  • This really helps! I will try this!

  • Excellent, especially for the smaller person or the ladies.
