@DecReP1T0 he/she mean dont make a elevator and just drop them 23 blocks down :) and stand close to the spawner and wait X min.(30 min) then go down and kill them and get you eXP :) you need to be 15 or closer to the spawner else it will not not spawn

Hey! I got a huge problem! When I start hitting the mobs, the skellys start shooting, and then they alle die, and drop no xp.. WHAT TO DO? and also when I wait and hour it only spaws a little bit of skellies, not as much as in ur vids :( PLEASE HELP !!!

@doffenmoss if you can find a skeleton spawner, that will be best for Zombie dont drop good loot :) but if you are on a server go for Zombies, ( zombies and skeleton jump alot :) hehe

if it is the jumping there is the problem then just drop them 2 more Block and make the elevator shorter :)

We have 7 skeleton traps so we got enough mob loot xD I only want the xp, and since farming xp on skeletons on MP servers takes such long time, I would like to make a zombie farm. My question only is, should I make the zombie trap/farm exactly the same as the skeleton trap (this one)?

I build one of these in my multiplayer server and all works well but I have a hard time killing them. They land in the landing zone with 1/2 a heart but they get all glitchy and I cant hit them. Is there a way to prevent this?

@Perfrid no the moss stone don't help the spawn rate :) but the size of the Spawn room helps :) 9x9x5 with the spawner in the middle, that is the best size :)

@Suicider12 I tried with cave spiders they just float on the first bit of water, although I have built a waterway where it pushes them through a half block 15 blocks down and an iron gate to hit them from underneath, that works brilliant.

@KassCraven I use a water stairway to push them up 15 blocks and then drop them instead :o The trick is, use stair blocks and signs. Place a block right above the water wherever you can because they can't fight the stream if a block is right above the water. It works really really well, I have it connected to 4 cave spider spawners and get about 4 2 spiders per second (all killed in one hit, and all pushed to an area where they cannot land on each other to negate some damage.

Please reply to this comment, so I built your exp grinder and for some reason it does not spawn as many skeletons as yours does. It eventually stops spawning them until I have to kill them to spawn more. The room has no lights at all and I built it exactly how you did. Can you help me out please?

A tip, now with 1.0.0 if u harvest xp for enough time u can get a pickaxe hopefully with silk touch, if u farm some ice, you can put the ice under the water near the spawner etc to make them spawn even FASTER idk i havent tried this out yet, i am also on my own server so the lag probably affects my stats, but maybe Kasper could you do it?
